I've always loved to film things and found a passion filming my everyday work life with friends and family. This is just a snippet of things we do on the farm and for customers throughout the year. Hope you enjoy.
Slow/Still/Standing water + lots of foliage = mosquitos….the more of either, water or foliage = more mosquitos. Those who’ve never lived near a tree lined, still pond in the south have a tough time understanding the hell this combination is and using mosquito repellants are irritants to humans too so damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Also less chance of a Copper-back Rattle-Moccasin slithering up into your backyard cookout.
Without the trees, it completely changed both the creek ecosystem and the multitude of animals, insects and birds who called that area home. The creek is going to evaporate so much more quickly. Water erosion is going to be much worse. The water is going to be much dirtier as the trees and plants help purify it. Ughhhh. People are going around and planting trees around creeks, streams and rivers realizing that they are incredibly necessary. This is senseless and such a bummer.
Honeycutt, wow never saw a machine like that, whats it called?? I need one for my land to make it look really nice, i gota find someone who can do that. Here in az. Nice video. Gota show my husband this machine.thank u for video.
what they need to do is put in a 6-8 ft wide very shallow swale between their properties to make it look nicer and easier to maintain and serve a purpose to help drain off any excess water...then allow the grass to over take it again... then there will be no future problems on that strip of land and about what to do about it...
better tip : you dont have to show face while talking , and listening to your speech over the sound of the machinery is probably a plus plus. not saying you have an ugly face .... id just rather listen to you speak then listen to nasty canned music OR machinery runnin
In the UK, natural habitats like this are so well protected that we prosecuted a farmer for several cases of doing just this. He once totally destroyed a river bank that was home to several protected species. If you watch the first series of Clarksons Farm you'll get an idea of the difference between the US and the UK where simply having ONE protected Vole in your area means you are damned if you ever touch it.
so the homeowners have you cut down a bunch of trees on the property line without mentioning it to the neighbours and they get upset . wow I'm shocked who could possibly see that coming. besides why would you want to see the neighbours when you could see trees
I’m cringing watching those tree and shrubs being cut down, breaks my heart. All that lawn, with a couple of stick thin shrubs in it. No wonder this worlds in a state, when we think more about some freaking lawn than the living, breathing trees that take away all the cr@p we breath out and make (running such equipment)😢. I’d turn the job down, and try and educate the owner, that their golf course lawn is a pretty barren and ugly sight and they’ve removed the most beautiful plants in hours…😭
Where I live...people would be living in the trees. Hundreds of them in tents. Keep the tall trees, clear the shrubs, raise the canopy so no one can be underneath without being seen.
Some people just don’t have sense god gave a Billy goat. Why the hell would you ruin that property. It would suck living next to some fool like this. Next he will start raising dogs and build kennels. Ruins everything.
I like the trees but some people hate trees apparently your client and his neighbours are very much tree haters .and overall nature haters because the creek has been recently sprayed with weed killer . Some people have no taste for gardens . The weird thing is that they themselves think that they are realy nature lovers . But it is now very easy to fight the neighbours no trees in their way . Ireland
He didn’t take down any thing but scrubby stuff. He freed up a grove of decent size trees that were surrounded by dense overgrowth. That grove will be spectacular in just a little while. Beautiful shady place to relax by the creek. Good job!
Both Track and Wheeled skid steers tend to year up the turf too much in the field and at the sheds dig holes, Good for one job only, loading and unloading...... The scene of the hay field...... We got a woman that loads in the field, and she is fast...... about 28 bales every 30 minutes..... with a power-shuttle tractor over 700 4x5s moved 15 miles in 2 days....
new subscriber!! great job, having the right equipment helps a lot, do keep an eye on the maintenance of it and it will never let you down, also if you try to trim the branches up to the same high it will look a lot nicer, normally I go up to 8ft, air can flow and also helps with visibility plus again, it looks nicer.
