MASSO is a standalone CNC controller that is ideal for advanced manufacturing systems. MASSO does not require any external hardware such as PC's to run - all you need is a VGA monitor and keyboard. You can find more information on masso.com.au/
I did the update and downloaded the app but it doesn't show the progress of the machine. it stays at 0% and it jumps to 100% when done. any fix for that? thank you
I have found a 2006 muticam 44 plus which comes with everything including software and computer . Would this need to be updated amd could it be updated to new software ?
cutter comp G41, G42 was already released in BETA v5.100b in Oct 2023, please see docs.masso.com.au/supported-g-codes/g41-cutter-compensation-left Lathe C-axis spindle has been added to the next BETA release due to be released very soon.
Can you please provide more details of your requirments, we have G200 gcode command to support Plasma DTHC for a very long time, please see docs.masso.com.au/multi-head/plasma-torch
even better!, its built in, here is fusion example: useZAxis: { title : "Use Z axis", description: "Specifies to enable the output for Z coordinates.", type : "boolean", value : false, scope : "post" }, go to your post library, select the masso plasma post, click the edit pencil and you can make the change. I assume this allows default to a THC unit, over driven Z axis, ill dig deeper, but this is what I would try first.
I can do the first probe but when I try to probe using the probing button I get an error and it will not probe on the work piece. I'm about ready to toss it in the garbage
I just brought a Multicam M1 1200 x 1000. I already have a Masso controller, new motors & drive card, new 18000 rpm 4.5kw spindle and VFD, as I was going to convert my manual mill. Can you point me any resource that may help me set this up, thank you...
Is it possible to index the Z axis down until it just touches the work piece then manually reset Z? I can reset X & Y to zero origin using the buttons on the DRO but Z button doesn't reset the Z to zero.
I got my D23M from CanCam, I am so glad they talked me into the Masso controller (in truth, it wasn’t that tough of an up sale … 10% or so up charge, 1000% better operator experience.
yeah, its definitly one of the best and most user friendly software in the hobby user market, and even outmatches many professional (aka crazy expensive) grade controllers
33 year cnc veteran here and I've got to say that that whole package has everything I'd want on my dream cnc. (1) Plenty of gantry clearance for thick jobs (probably up to 8" thick) (2) servos instead of hobby shit steppers (3) solid construction all round for heavy cutting at high speed (4) pop up registration pins (I use my registration pins all the time but they aren't pop up ones unfortunately) (5) Masso controller. These put maintenance back in the hands of those that are capable of it. My current machine has all fault finding and most technical settings only available to / accessible to the company techs at $230/hr. I.e. password protected.
@@MassoCNCAustralia Hello brother .. You told me to send the serial number of my controller, so I sent it twice and wrote the problem, but no one answered me
we replied to your emails on 3rd and 6th May with instructions on how to reset your password, can you check that the emails are not going to the SPAM folder.
Look amazing. I buy one machine without electronic. This machine have 5 th axis... And I don't see any video and recommendations with masso... Can you send me some information?? Thanks
Greetings. I have an American-made Techno Isel CNC Router, similar in age to the Multicam you updated. Do you think MASSO G3 would help me to update it?
