I’ve done single database tenants before and yeah, it does simply things, but I was constantly scared to death of forgetting about the tenant ID relationship.
I know that feeling 🙈 in our app we kinda ‘hinge’ off of a root object, so it’s pretty much impossible to forget it eg. t()->orders()->count() - and t() resolves to the resolved tenant - works great.
@sabino-dev great video, excuse me, do you have any resources to implement the printing of a ticket, using a thermal printer per IP address from Laravel Inertia with vue? I have investigated and it must be with some .net script and expose a certain port to consume it from the browser, but it is still not clear to me.
You probably need to communicate with the printer using TCP, which is not possible from the web. That’s why you can create a .NET/Node script that exposes a web server and relays messages to the printer using TCP. Send me a message on discord if you want to discuss further 👌
Top of my head, it’s something like $0.03 per image generated with Flux. You can do cheaper models as well, like SDXL, but Flux has the best results imo.

Main mic is a Shure SM7b that’s run through a Mackie DLZ, and outside the frame I have a shotgun mic to pick up audio when I turn my face towards the display. For editing I use Davinci Resolve Studio, and subtly tweak the audio with their voice isolation plugin. All other audio effects are done in the Mackie (ie. EQ, noise gate, etc)
your channel is one of the few channels that has content about laravel, that talks about programming on a higher level. Keep it up we need more of this not just basic/junior level coding!
Really amazing stuff!. Would love to see another part of video where everything is local like Ollama, no external api keys. Transformer.js is great for transcriptions, text to speech, etc. We really need a local unpaid solution.

Yeah great information. I've been wrestling with numerous different approaches for a multi-tenancy Laravel app over the last few weeks. Do I need multi-database? Do I need single-database? Should I use a package like Tenancy for Laravel or Spatie Multi Tenancy? After watching this video, I think it's clear that it shouldn't be too much of a headache just to roll my own. Could you make separate videos about each of below topics explain it in details with real world examples. please ? - Separate Ready and Write ( Insert, update & delete ) connection to database. - Batch inserts & updates. - Don't synchronous reports ( but report in queue so other tasks in app won't slow because of slow reports ). Also what do you think of using Laravel Octane with Swoole or FrankenPHP for scaling ?
I have some videos on my backlog for those topics 🙏 I rarely use Octane, but the way I’d use it is to optimise specific routes. For example, I have a /pingback route that is used by client machines to signal their status once every minute. I run this route with Octane because it gets used 600-800 times per minute. Using Octane, we can skip setting up the entire framework that many times, and thus making the route much faster
