@@austinkane1 seems that alatreon had that effect on a lot of players, funny enough a post on X saying "you are waiting for wilds, but did you beat fatalis yet?" And most of the comments were saying they haven't beat Alatreon yet was the reason I made this video. Lol
i had to bounce off it, grinds, return, bounce of it , grind, returns quite a few times. but when I finally understood that all i needed to do was more elemental damage rather than raise defense I started winning.

What kind of title is this? Alatreon is the 3rd of the last 3 challenges in the game. Nothing in monster hunter is "too difficult." Learn how to fight it.
@@evil_id yet you would be amazed how many newcomers are still stuck on Alatreon, can't blame them when the advice they get is "break the horns to weaken judgment" I am just showing that the hunt isn't as bad as people let it out to be, believe me I learned Alatreon, I am not the best, but I got Alatreon.
Elemental greatsword seems like an insane challenge for this. I did it with constant Hammer spins. I wouldnt have tried this fight with greatsword, although, I am planning a frostcraft/crit draw greatsword for Fatalis.
@@skylerdickson2939 I thought the same thing when I thought of the build making this video, but it really isn't bad when you wound Alatreon's arms and stay on them. It is weird that it takes more elemental damage to the arms then the head, a little detail a lot of newcomers never knew about apparently.
took me 120 gourmet vouchers to kill Alatreon in the first quest where it drops you straight in front of him with no chance of camp. The hardest things about the fight is no camp, no farcaster, no ammo reload, no max potion reload. The event quest that starts you at camp is honestly no problem at all after that first instant fight.
No, Alatreon isnt that hard. Its only as hard as a persons first Rathalos. Keep launching the quest and youll learn it like you learned to make macaroni.
Gotta disagree. It's a little reductive to say it's anywhere near as easy as baby's first Rathalos. Alatreon has specific mechanics it demands you play into, or get wiped. It has a difficult moveset, even for its G rank status, and it requires a good build/ high element damage to even progress the fight. I think the best way to put it is if I gave my little sister who hasnt played the controller, she might beat Rathalos. You have to grind Alatreon for (120 gourmet vouchers apparently) a while to even understand how to succeed
@@dominicsartele7736 I can confirm it is very op in this game, which is why there is a very toned down version of it in sunbreak, but the heal is based on the damage you deal, which is why GS gets big heals.
@@brightosei-boateng1239 this is before the bloodfiend's arm nerfs, I can fully admit I cheesed the dlc, but it's difficult, maybe one day I will do a redemption run with another build.

I love how Asagi is always out of date. In disgaea 2, they use her Phantom Brave assets. In Disgaea 3 they use her Makai Kingdom Model, and in Disgaea 4 ahe still uses pixel art.
