it's really only as hard as the instructor makes it!!!! when I learned it as a kid, my instructor had us do thousands of "sweeping the floor" with our feet. Both left and right. when we could move our "monkey foot" parallel with the floor in the correct motion, we started applying it.
Imagine getting up as a grown man and saying today ima go get sweaty with another man cause I am afraid to take a punch 🤣 oh man I can have field days with wrestlers / BJj/ pride supporters… dude pick up some pads or something and go learn how to punch , not roll around with another guy
@@agreensubstance I get that , I wrestled through high school and been training muay tai since senior year , just feel like wrestling or bjj more high school and it’s good to learn when young but as you get older and body makes growths I feel like learning a striking martial art can really change someone or something in a good way , you learn more patience , breathing , you see more growths to you and your body and I feel like if you gotta take another grown man to the ground cause you can’t beat them chest to chest is kinda cheesy , I feel like fighting off your back has got to be the dumbest thing ever
