You can get a bed that you plug in to blow it up. I have enough room in my craftroom for a guest. I have one pile on the floor and i will also be organizing and putting it away. I spend alot of time keeping my craftroom organized so i am able to find things. I do craft alot and it gas been over 20 years since i have worked on my scrap books. I would rather make cards. ❤ You will figure out what works for you.
Great idea, and yes Pan Pastels are a bit pricey. Every time I look at my wife's eye shadows out on the vanity I wonder to myself if I could use them as a weathering medium on my models. Apparently it WILL work! Thanks!
The hardest part of organizing is getting started. Everyone has their own of doing things. Just use what you have and you will be fine. An outside she shed is not always a good thing because it could be too hot or too cold. You can do it... ❤❤❤
My hubby made me a desk that I can stand up at ( I have back problems and can’t sit very long) ( the Raskog wheeled carts fit underneath , so I have my most used supplies in those , underneath my desk.) He used 2 bookshelves and a big board ( that has a melamine like coating) from Home Depot to make the top part. That’s similar to what you are doing! My hubby did shelves in my closet too. That’s where I store the containers of extra stuff or stuff I don’t use very often. I have to have stuff organized . I hate getting an ideas and working all red hot and then I have to spend forever looking for s particular supply ! Just kills my creativity. If you have a Home Goods or a At Home store they have a ton of storage stuff. I’m in Huntsville Alabama and we have those stores here . I don’t know if they are southern stores or not. They might have some of those baskets, I’ve seen them at Big Lots ( or Ollie’s) you could check Stores like Marshall’s, or Guesday Morning. They sometimes have baskets like those. I have a bunch of them and I really love them too! I’ve had to search around to find them . I love seeing how other crafters organize their craft rooms ! It gives me so many ideas! And I agree , labeling is important….I just started labeling stuff and it really makes a difference! That’s exellent advice!
I’m terrible with math and measurements so I REALLY appreciate this! This is so ingenious! I love it when some clever crafter comes up with a version of the expensive brand name products! I’m going to use clear contact paper on my DIY box. So then I can keep it clean. It will last longer. And all the ink that puddles in the box, I can smoosh or swipe a piece of Cardstock in it and creat a background using ink that would be wasted. Thank you!
Helpful info as far as an alternative goes, but Video title is misleading. I was looking for a way to make my own Pan Pastels, DIY VERSION. Would be helpful to other viewers as well I'm sure.
I am glad you are doing a little better. Don't be upset because no one watches...no one watches me either. You know the saying " Dance like no one is watching?" Replace Dance with Craft...as long as it makes you feel good and keeps you safe and healthy, do it..happy birthday and be blessed always!!
Yes it's one of my favorite new finds, I can definitely see myself making 3D purses gift boxes with this. You know if you find something you love you gotta go for it. 😊
I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I'm putting a different storage shelf in my room and I had to move so much around. I have stuff out in the hall and spilling into the office. This is real life! TFS!
S'mone C The DIYer I think we are perfectly normal lol. I did the whole ikea room to store my papercrafting and jewelry making supplies and then fell in love with fabric. Who knew that fabric takes up so much room?😂
