All unsold Piccadilly records were bought in bulk by Currys,pasted over and resold or given away with a sales item in their stores.

Neat little jazz number. I am guessing this is Harry Hudson's band? Nice banjo work.

Would you consider selling this side?

This is an American recording by Nathan Glantz & his Orchestra with vocalist Arthur Fields.

I was walking away, but as soon as I heard Arthur Fields' voice, I knew I had to comment. Thanks for listing the correct information.

Very nice. I always like to find a Winner, and I can see you are a fan of the Piccadilly label like me, too. Thanks 👍 😀

Never seen this label in the US.
@LaptopLarry330

It was a British-made record. A small American company bought a shipment of records, and put on their own label, and gave the band a fictitious name for US audiences.

Sounds good! I always look out for Piccadilly records. One of my favourite labels. Just trying to work out the machine. Maybe a Table Grand No.8 or a Cabinet Grand No.10, or something a little later like the 160 🤔. Thanks 👍 😀

I only have one example of this label. Mine is not very interesting. These were pressed in Germany. I am a Yank so do not have a lot of access to British records.

Good to meet you in Ben's yesterday. Very funny lyrics there. What model is that? I also have one title My wife's on a diet. I forget off hand who did it, but I think it was on the Imperial label.
