About to put mine together. This is very helpful. tyvm. Is an upgrade from my Logitech 3d Pro that has been doing its job for well over a decade. Looking forward to being able to fly helicopters with a semblance of control. Thanks again.
Thanks, trying to help and help provide some more visibility on this game. I'm worried about the longer term availability and I'd like to play this for quite a while, doing what i can.
Was crazy when I did it the first time, I just wanted to get this up before they changed it. I didn't even take the time to edit this or do a voice over :)
it is a bit tight, I try to set it to things I won't use often if at all I also found it helpful to not use the tip of my pinkie, but to push my finger the rest of the way around and just use whatever part of my finger is on the button.
Great video, thanks. I wish they made a different connector on the stick rather than the three screws. I don't like how easy it is to strip the plastic. I think I did it properly after watching your video and I hope it doesn't come loose. Wouldn't it have been better to have a bolt that screws into some type of casing?
Glad it helped, it was just a couple of simple additions to what VKB provided that made it a lot easier to figure out. The setup was not hard, but it just felt like the official documentation and video didn't show everything.
I believe someone already has (search reddit), I can see 3 issues to overcome, first, making sure it is tight enough of a fit to not have any give when moving the stick. Second you would have to extend the wire inside, and third making sure you print is strong enough to consistently pull the springs without snapping your printed part. Obviously, more difficult the taller you make it. As for air refueling, the vkb gladiator is based off a real flight stick, but not one used on an in air refuelable craft. I think it would be up to the skill of the pilot. I'd HIGHLY recommend mounting it for any such maneuvers as well as pvp combat situations.
Thank you, I know there somethings amarketing/pr company cannot say, I don't fault them, but I felt it was a little confusing, so I made this when I got my second one.
Ha! That is funny, I put that at the end of every email I send :) thanks, I had to get it assembled some how! I just wish the mic didn't blow out so much. I didn't see the bars hit red when I was recording :(
I can write using Samsung notes with my hand firmly resting on the screen without issue, I can draw in art flow with my hand resting on the screen without issue, I can move my hand around on the screen while writing or drawing without issue. I have never noticed any impact from my hand on the screen when using the stylus. In the note app or while using art flow. If another app is having palm issues I would expect it to be exclusive to those applications. I have had finger tap issues with my palm on the screen in apps with limited multi-touch capabilities.
No problem, I still love my tab so, if you wait, there is supposed to be a new model this year, the price may drop on the S6 by 100-200 usd (fingers crossed, i want to get one as a present for someone). I just bought a house 2 days ago! and used my Tab S6 to sign all of the documents, instead of printing, signing, scanning, and then sending them back. Huge time-saver. I still haven't done 2 of the 3 things I bought it for though.
@@joelperry1308 oooohhh thanks so much I didn't know about the new model coming...I should hold off but im so impatient I've been wanting a tablet for a while now lol. so good to know it holds up 😅 and congrats on your new house! that's awesome how you were able to do everything with the tab
I can, can you give any more info on what you want to see as a diagram? also, per the Android Play store reviews, the only negative on Squid when comparing to the Samsung Notes app, is that the S-Pen lag is significantly worse, everything else about the app is supposed to be better. I have not used it yet.
@@eewta i am a medical student so i am wanting to buy this for digital note taking. An eye diagram may work and also please describe how the lag would affect my need.
I have had some issues with my bad handwriting, but believe it or not, even when I don't fully form letters it still gets them right. I have issues with spacing between letters as sometimes I put too much in the middle of a word, or not enough between two words, but with the large screen, I don't normally feel cramped while writing, unlike on my Galaxy Note 9 where I am constantly squished on the edge of screen.
EXTREMELY LOUD!!!! game audio is way too loud, speech is not loud enough to be heard over the game. Also, you can hear my finger when ever it touches the mic hole, as well as audio volume variations anytime my finger covers the speaker hole. In the beginning I don't have the camera on, and my eye is a little creepy! Little by little, I'll make some improvements and get this recording better :). it is labeled a test after all...
