I drive Scania in EU for about 6 years by now, and besides the exhaust's sound....yeah, I happen to notice the Scania in the engine sound and the gear shifting ;) You're in a real treat there
@@MichaelOlden You're welcome! At the moment I have a 2 year old one (450hp, 12 gear), and got it with 165km in it. During this time, the only problem I had powertrain wise were faulty injectors (4 out of 6 got changed due giving the fuel to the engine on too high pressure). Till around 10-12 tons it barely feels the load on hills, after that starts to fight, but she does the job.
Putting the high beam indicator (and other indicators) where it cannot be seen while driving is an engineering fail. Only way i could see them from my seated position was to lower the steering wheel to where it touched my legs as the horn pad obstructed my view of the lower part of the cluster. Maybe shorter drivers sitting further ahead can see it but i sure couldn't. Ended up not using my high beams because i would accidently flash other drivers lowering the high beams that were actually already on low beam. Could negate this problem with a push/pull style signal stalk as it would at least give tactile feedback as to what position it was in when you cannot see the light. Existing signal stalk would also do sort of a double flash of the high beams when operated. I cant remember now if it was going high to low or low to high or both.

MPG can vary based on your area of operation, aggressiveness of the accelerator, idle time, your payload, and more. The pie in the sky numbers are silly to offer. So a conservative number - with all the previous mentioned performance inhibitors is 10 - 13 as the diesel.
This particular truck featured the Cummins ISX 15 Liter engine and 12 speed endurant transmission. The benefits were the no idle system for heat and roomy interior space
Yes this truck is also a diesel unit. In the F750 Gas is not often used. There are some that want to convert to alternative fuels, but most will be diesel. Thanks for the question!
Most of the use for this truck does not need supplies. There is space to put dry goods in the cab. And more space could be added through installation of an under mount tool box. It is more commonly used for single or dual pallet deliveries, expansion routes, or satellite routes where a lighter more focused delivery needs to be made. Thanks for the question!
