Come with me as we dive into the world of Old School RuneScape with a unique twist - Xtreme Chunk Challenge! But there's a twist within the twist! Join me as I tackle each chunk of the Oldschool RuneScape map, aiming to complete all tasks and quests within just one hour before rolling onto the next.
From processing obtainable items to mastering skills and unlocking all the skill capes, every minute counts in this race against time. Once we roll onto the next chunk, the clock resets, but the journey doesn't end there. We may find ourselves revisiting previous chunks, adding a layer of unpredictability to our journey.

Oh, and did I mention? I'm on a quest to obtain the coveted Max Cape, but not knowing where I'm headed next makes the journey all the more difficult.
Feel free to reach out to me in-game @Shiftychunks
Just the roof tops yes. And seasonal should be different. skilling exp is the same in safe zones. But combat exp is better outside safe zones. ❤ u got a plan? Need some ppl to play with?
@@lowkey1202 yeah i do think that would have been a better rule overall. But at this point ive used to my benefit a couple times it would feel like making an exception and im trying to avoid doing that as much as possible
Not sure if you readdress it, but not sure if walking diagonally through chunks should be allowed since you can't/don't roll diagonally. That said I'm sure it's already a slog playing like this so play it how you like!
Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback. I did go back and forth on if i should allow crossing diagonally, and basically came down too it will probably make a big difference in the later game when i am trying to boss and need to re-bank or go to an altar.
Idk how I feel about you having to get drops if you have a higher tier. The picker will give you them but i think they should be auto completed. If you role a chunk that has a curved bone, but you already got one from another chuck, but have simce deselected it, wouldn't the picker say you need to fet another one?
So far it seems once I’ve completed a task, it stays completed even after I’ve relocked the chunk. I figured the fairest way to go about it is making sure i get every drop at least once either buying or getting it from an npc.
I personally like the idea that you start over in lumby every time you die, gives more weight to the deaths going forward and feels like you would be building the chunks from the home base of lumby.
I did consider that as well, my concern was using it to “cheat” out of a bad area and i wanted to avoid giving myself a way out. Ive also got an unreleased episode where that rule would have really set me back, haha. Thanks for watching!
BTW, on your chunkmap your OBS settings are not recording the mouse. So when you're showing the trees that block you, we can't see what you're pointing at. As a watcher from the start, I know what you are pointing out though.
Sorry about that, i think what happened was i had last clicked on obs and didnt click back onto the chunk picker to make it my active screen so obs didnt pick up the mouse. It took me a while to figure out why it was working sometimes and not others. I appreciate the comment and you watching, thanks so much!
I hope you have a great weekend too. Sorry that the sliver chunks are not as exciting. For as annoying as it can be to get them, there will times that it can really save me from an area i don’t want to go. Ill keep in mind how to make it more engaging when it happens tho, thanks for the feedback
I like the chunks where you only get a sliver. It adds a strategy about it. For the viewer is not this thrilling video but for the player, I think its nice to have it some really boring challenges like that
It actually turned out that the plug was busted somehow, the isp came out and swapped and things have stopped dc’ing as often which has been a huge relief
I know the feeling of having the 100 up 50 down after paying for 1000. Happened to me 4 years ago. Beyond irritating and it feels like the isp is throttling you. Here’s to hoping they’re able to get you better lines and you’ll have high speed internet
Loving the series, but my brother in Christ, you can grab an iron dagger from the goblin house in the lumbridge chunk. It’s just sitting there on the floor. Waiting for you
1. You should mention the shifting chunks mode to the app creator to see if he could implement anything. 2. Think you should do a no slivers or chunks rule, it's not good content. Either be able to go in to a new chunk whereever you want, or make them unrollable. 3. 58:46 Stars are not part of unlock requirements, as they are not chunk specific, have variable mining levels, and may not be present in a chunk 4. Would prefer shorter, more frequen episodes episodes. Maybe between 30to 60 minutes?
Those are some great points 1-I have thought about reaching out to him, but I have been not sure what exactly would need to change about the chunkmap to fit better with the app, and at this point i feel pretty comfortable with the settings ive lined up currently. 2-Sorry that you don't find this part interesting, and i can see what your saying. This is something that makes me feel like each roll is more important and exciting to myself, but i will keep mind that it can be boring to watch 3- i did also consider backlogging stars and i know a lot of people do, but since their drops are in static locations i am going to keep them as a requirement. 4- i think this point confused me the most, right now most of my content is about 10-20 minutes that comes out every other day, So i am not sure if you are asking for more frequent than that and closer to 30-60 minutes, or if just this video length was the issue? Thanks for all the feedback and for watching!
i went back and forth with that choice for a while, but i think ive got my settings dialed in on the chunk map where that shouldn't ever be an issue again thankfully
For future reference, if you see a star crash - prospect it so you get double dust for the first 200 actions on your next star. Also, it is now a set amount of time, 7 minutes per tier.
