I love this part of the level. Just cutting up the parts of the heart. And blood showering down on you. I just love it! Oh my Goodness! I'm a psycho!😱 And I love it!
I wonder if they took inspiration from the Atlantis movie since that Leviathan was a guardian for the city. Maybe the locust kept this thing as a form of defense, even though it was not under their control even though they could have easily tamed it, but Probably kept it around To guard nexus.
Its also a good tutorial piece your initial idea to avoid Eike dying well lets just have Eike from the future warn himself not to go to the square thus avoiding the problem all together. ...Forgetting/not knowing that violates the first rule of time travel...You cannot interact with yourself lest you create a time paradox and the digipad is not immune to that rule...Thus teaching you to stop Eike from dying, he himself has to set the situation up that avoids the death to begin with without any direct involvement to himself. It also shows the game has very good foresight to count that possibility that you can run into yourself so it needs to explain what happens if you do willingly or not.
Really love how the nite owl gameplay just feels like a bargain basement batman out to clean up the streets with his homeless mate haha fun throwback game with amazing graphics
When you realized that Aerith is the "promised land" Shinra's been looking for the whole time after finishing the game. It's heavily implied that it's the lifestream and the planet whole along, and Aerith, as a cetra, is now one with the planet. That's why the OG FF7 first and last thing we see is Aerith, the true hero.
