Great video Mark. I think it's great to have different styles n genres in music instead of just sticking to one format. Makes it interesting for you and something for everybody to enjoy 😉
@MarksMusic-hd6gv the both subjects together will make it interesting, tho I don't care who watches mine or not. I just like making them when I can. I enjoy looking at wot you get... 😉
@@JasonJames72 The reason I made the video was, I DON'T CARE, it seems every time I post a video I loose at least two subscribers, I get some back plus others some times. "Throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks" is what is enjoyable for me, If nobody watches it I'm fine with that.
Gr8 new additions. I've got Billie Eilish coming from the USA at $55aus as off the shelf here it's $99aus. Our vinyl prices are ridiculous even the cd 💿 is $35aus, gr8 vid Mark 😊
It's crazy that you would have to pay $65 US at your local store for a Billie Eilish record. When I go to the Billie Eilish store it says "Only available in the US" so glad you could get your hands on one, but paying $50 US I'm sure you also had to pay taxes, shipping, and mayby customs on top of that. I see they have Targets in Australia, and she has a Target exclusive which maybe a way to buy the album at a better price.
@MarksMusic-hd6gv hey Mark yes we do have target tho they don't stock vinyl. And certainly don't trust Amazon... we have jb hi fi here which is equivalent to urban outfitters.
You sure seem to like orange albums and albums with robots! if I ever design an album cover, it'll be orange with robots on it -- and you can feature it! Very enjoyable, but I disagree with some of your choices.
Greetings from Russia! Thanks for the video. You have a wonderful Pink Floyd collection. Pink floyd is my favorite band. I have collected all the Pink Floyd albums. And my favorite albums are Dark side of the moon and The Wall. I wish you good luck!
HELLO, MARK MY NAME IS CHARLES I HAVE MY BEATLES CD COLLECTION I DO HAVE MY BEATLES ALBUM'S COLLECTION HERE ARE A FEW OF MY BEATLES COLLECTION ON CD WITH THE BEATLES A HARD DAY'S NIGHT BEATLES FOR SALE HELP! RUBBER SOUL AND MUCH MORE AND NOW HERE IS MY BEATLES ALBUM COLLECTION I HAVE MEET THE BEATLES! THE EARLY BEATLES BEATLES 65" BEATLES VI THE ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK OF A HARD DAY'S NIGHT AND THE SOUND TRACK OF HELP! AND MORE HOW BIG IS YOUR BEATLE COLLECTION ? DO YOU JUST HAVE THEM ON CD? DO YOU HAVE THEM ON VINYL ?
The quality of the vinyl is good, the problems with my copy are on the second side of the second disc. There is a scratch in the lead in dead wax, which doesn't carry into the music, and where ever this was pressed someone decided to put their finger and palm print on the grooves. I checked the Beyonce store and all the black vinyl copies are sold out, so I would not be able to get an exchange.
@MarksMusic-hd6gv yes like you that would annoy me. I just received an lp in the mail from the states and it has been twisted and crushed plus bent during transit. Also opened one up once and it looked as tho whoever was handling the vinyl during production must have been eating KFC 🍗 whilst handling it. I was furious.
Ordering something from the other side of the globe always worries me. Just got a CD box set from Japan today, turned out OK. Still waiting on something from Brazil.
@MarksMusic-hd6gv yes it's certainly a risk and I have been fortunate for the most. However it's so much more economical to order and have it sent from overseas. Most cases it's less than half price than buying off the shelf here in Australia. But I luv second hand crate digging.
I get your situation, I just pre-ordered some stuff from the Billie Eilish website and it was US only, as well as some stuff I had bought from the Miley Cyrus store that was US and Canada only. A least half of my Madonna singles came from Europe, because they just were not available here, as absurd as that may seem.
Mark this room is awesome, i hope to have my room looking just as organized as yours! Wish i had picked up those Miley posters, i would have if i had known about them! Where did you find those cd shelves, the first set shown within the first few minutes, those are great, i need some!! Thank you for sharing this great room and your cool collection of everything!
It's been along time since I bought the CD towers but I think I got all of them from Amazon. Atlantic 35435725 Media Tower Elite Large (Black) Something like the link above. With the Miley posters, I don't think they ever sold out, so there may be some floating around out there. When some artists come out with the new album, the site changes and the new album is featured and the older stuff is no longer available on their website.
It is easy to get a lot of PF. I have bought so many bootleg concerts from them. I think I have 4 different types of Dark Side which is insane but it happens lol
Pink Floyd was one of those bands every collection I bought had Dark Side of the Moon, and The Wall, I don't even know how many copies I've owned over the years. Some of the records I regret getting rid of in the past were a bunch of bootlegs from Vietnam, during the war, no Floyd but I had Hendrix, Stones and other bands. Unfortunately at the time I looked at them as cheep copies, almost trash.
Great collection! Thanks for sharing. I feel your pain with the price of original pressings though. Fortunately, jacket condition doesn't mean much to me at all. In fact, I actually prefer to have records that were played like crazy and enjoyed over and over again. There's life in the flaws. My DSOTM original looks like it was carried around everywhere like a toddler's favorite blanket. I got it for $10 and it hangs proudly on my wall. :)
Just looked up the artwork on the album as well as the Davies sister Rose moving to Australia would make sense it would be a Kangaroo. It looks like a bear to me. I think you're right.
I think I paid around $70.00 for the blimps including tax. Another $100.00 for the music. I don't always buy blimps, so as far as music is concerned I may pay between $200 and $400 a month. Now I just did order some stuff off of Beyonces website which set me back close to $200, and a couple of each of Taylor Swifts new vinyl, CDs, and cassettes witch may have cost a total of another $500.00 or more.
If there is no wrong answer, I would say "Percy" soundtrack. The only song I wish was on the U.S. Reprise pressing of the debut album was "Revenge". "Face to Face" doesn't have to much to offer me." "Muswell Hillbillies" is OK but not something I would listen to very often. "Percy" may sound ridiculous but there are more than enough songs I like and would listen to more than a few times.
Don't know much about Betty Boop, my father had a large collection of Betty Boop stuff and if I find something that would look good in the music room I'll bring it home.
Grand Illusion is one of those perfect albums for me. Dr and The Medics, I have n3ver heard of them. Once in awhile a blind buy can bite you lol. I just purged a bunch of records that I figured I would ever play again. I made room for more stuff I really want. Nice Peter Murphy album
It's hard to go wrong with Styx. Not ready to get rid of anything yet. Just got Deep on vinyl in the mail today my favorite Peter Murphy album, have had the CD for for over two decades. Trying to catch up, or catch back?
Hey dude in all honesty I and probably a lot of other people would have enjoyed seeing you go slowly through the entire CD collection’s titles just long enough to read each title. Could be 15 minutes and I’d still be interested by the end there’s just something about collections that’s like that. Just saying don’t underestimate what you may think may be boring. Even better man no lie would be a video showing your whole collection and telling stories behind the ones you remember when you got them and stuff.
Did not know that, thanks. Unfortunately I think they belonged to kids who wrote their names on them. I did not mention this on my "Beatles Accumulation" video, but did mention some of them on my "Entire 7 vinyl" collection video. Beetles start around 29:30 if you are interested and want to skip to that part.
I have a 2 record set import of the band Camel an one of the records has the same issue of the Label being in the same area as your Copy of the wall.kind of cool!
Billie Eilish and Miley Virus? wow dude... You really listen to that garbage or just collect it? I mean you have alot of quality music as well. I guess that's an eclectic collection...
Both, I don't collect anything I don't like. Miley, Iron Maiden, Floyd, Stones, Ministry, The Smiths, If I like it, it's good in my opinion. I grew up switching radio stations between metal, classic rock, and pop. I went to a boarding school where I learned of other types of music. I don't like to limit myself.
Still have many gaps to fill, have most of Al Js stuff on CD working on the vinyl. Also I am almost complete with Bauhaus / Tones On Tail / Love and Rockets on vinyl, complete if I include CDs and cassettes. Not including solo albums by David J., Peter Murphy, and Daniel Ash. Working on those.
Thanks for the info, didn't think to mention where it was pressed until I was making the video so no research as done and I wasn't going to remake the video.
Danke, habe mir gerade einige deiner Videos angesehen. Tolle Sammlung und ich liebe all die interessanten Dinge, die Sie hinzugefügt haben, um Ihr Musikzimmer zu Ihrem eigenen zu machen
