I used to have an app called "My little planet" which created the same effect as your 360 camera, back in the days when I took my photography seriously. Looking forward to seeing what you can create with your new toys, and to see more footage outside of Dover. Great to see you outside, getting your steps in 😊
yes she has a dji drone.. this one i have is to be an extra camera operator so when i go places it follows me filming me from different angles.. will be good recording people running as it can follow them lol..
ND filters are interesting. I remember back when I did film photography, it was general advice just to have one fitted all the time as a lens protector. If they rotate for polarisation, that's a good feature too. Although you have a selection of different strength ones, as the camera has auto exposure you probably wont need to change them around much. In the tests in this video, there wasn't much between the 16 and 32 that I could see. Although I remember you deciding on 'comment, like, subscribe', or something like 'push the buttons, you know what to do', I think you may get more feedback if you ask a question and ask for comments about that. It gives the viewer more reason to comment. Thanks

I have purchased some ND filters for my Pocket 3 they are on the way from china lol so will be a few days I have studied what settings etc so I know all about them now..
forgot to mention that I will be doing a live next Sunday after 8pm will have to use my phone as the internet here has been a pain... so will be a bit different lol..
There is more traffic or background noise with the older firmware, but that could be due to time of day, where you are sitting, or various other factors
After the problems you were having with white balance, I did notice the colours yesterday were a bit muted. I think I prefer the colour in today's video, but it's not a real issue either way. Thanks 👍 😀
I was testing out the 10 bit colour option on the action 4 where it makes it better to colour grade I have saved todays settings for future vids for when I use the 10 bit colour option again..
I got fed up with the BBC weather app, as it stopped wanting to save my locations. I'm now using the Met Office app, which is free, and works well, but doesn't look as pretty 😅. Thanks 😀👍

Well done for taking the first step, Darren 😊 remember, exercise comes in many forms; it doesn't have to involve weights, or, high intensity workouts (although, they are both excellent ways to get your body conditioned, and great for your heart) Walking is fab, step counting is a great way to start; you could easily fit 10,000 steps in, especially being in the shop. Good luck. You can do this. I don't really listen to podcasts. However, could you reuse the audio from your videos like this one and just make them podcasts? You'd have to change the bit about subscribing presumably 🤔. Other than that, just keep making content. I think content about your own experiences works better than commenting on trends, but your RU-vid analytics will be a better judge than me. Thanks 👍 😀

That’s what happened on my old channel with the hauls… I’m still mad I had to make a whole new channel for my vlogs 😂. I felt pushed out my own channel by people only wanting hauls x
I did feel sorry when I saw you drop back to 99. It was obviously too much of a temptation for one of your 100 subs! 😅. Having said that, you are quite right that it doesn't really matter. Your videos are getting some traction, on this channe, and you will gain back that sub and more quite quickly. Interesting to hear you mention your gaming channel. Keep grinding bro! You got this content game. I found for me just creating every day is helping me find my style of content(vlogs) I want to do. Some days will be different because I want to try different things some things.
I hadn't noticed the glasses or the hand waving 😅 and personally, I don't see either being an issue. What I have noticed is that you often 'finish' the video and then carry on. This will hurt your retention as RU-vid sees viewers leaving early as a bad thing. In this video, you say goodbye at 7:29, and many viewers won't hang around to watch the last 30s or more before the video actually ends.
This video did work and was a good edit and I like the style (as you said lighting and things) but you need to do the stuff your talking about, I can't wait for the "new content" Lets see it. As a creator myself I love the logos and branding, I wish I could do that, I can't get my head around doing logos. (a tutorial needed lol) The guy in the first video was using a Insta 360 camera so a 360 view then edited down to 180' view like my GoPro max, the 5k video files and editing is unreal, its why I have been slow on using it and its locked up a 2023 mini Mac, also any bend in the selfie stick can send the edit into a wobble,. My problem is time I'm working (inc travel) 55to 63 hours a week, You do have a good voice even with the different microphones, what I should do is download the podcasts. Anyway Daz I do have a post it note somewhere on my desk to schedule an interview video with Daz to chat about DJI/GoPro and before you go DJi wobbly head camera think about the insta 360. Being honest on my last day off I went out filming my first new style content outdoors where I filmed in public and did that chatting thing where I spend a few mins chatting in one place then another etc but I felt very uncomfortable and realised it's something I can't do all the time so will have to wait a few more weeks. I am trying to build up that confidence. Where I live and work is in the same place so I don't get to do this kind of recording only on my days off

When you moved around the room, that worked, though will require more planning as you will have to plan what you are going to say in each camera location. You could just use multiple cameras and switch shots during editing. More work, but maybe less planning. I agree on the script front. I have made highly scripted videos, but that's where I am doing a complete voiceover to the whole video. I occasionally use a script starter to make sure I say a few key points. Quite often, if I go too badly off track, I just stop recording and start that segment again. I think use whatever works for you. Thanks 👍 😀
Just watched the video. Sorry to hear about your dad. Interesting to see you are talking about rebranding. It seems to be a regular thing for you 🤔😉😅. My branding is terrible as it says nothing about me or my channel. It was just something I came up in a few seconds back in 2012 when I needed to upload a video to share something. I'm not sure how much branding really matters though. I feel it is more important to get known and recognised for a type or style of content. I think you are still trying to figure out what sort of videos you want to make and for whom. Thanks 👍 😀
If I remember correctly, you have previously talked about a content creation strategy, which, to a significant extent, had a schedule built into it. So the dilemma is whether you film before work, and accept that it has to be inside, or to post less frequently and make the sort of outdoor videos you admire, which presumably will be more of a weekend activity. I think if an outside location will fuel your vlog, i.e., you talk about the location, then it's worth it. If the location is just visual eye candy to an unrelated topic, then less important. I do enjoy your beach chats, though whether being on the beach actually matters 😉, I'm not sure. Thanks 👍 😀
Your camera does seem to deal very well with the sun. Quite impressive 👍. I can see that some sort of body mounted camera would work well for unboxings, etc. I normally use 2 fixed cameras, but they don't catch everything so a might try a chest mounted actioncam, too 🤔. Thanks 😀👍
Thank you. Yes I am impressed with the way the action 4 deals with the light. I prefer the neck mount less hassle if I am standing still or walking it's steady but running and other things I would use the chest mount. I will use the neck mount for my future unboxings.
I'm not sure I would trust my editing software to edit out stuff for me. I'd still want to go back and listen to it all, and if I really cared about umms etc (sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t), then I can always edit them out by hand. I'd also suggest considering how much you are making from RU-vid vs. how much it is costing you before splashing out on a paid subscription for something 🤔. Thanks 👍 😀
I quite liked the stand-up approach, and the background noise isn't obtrusive. I liked what you did with the intro, too! Much more effective than just 5 seconds at the front 👍. When I started on RU-vid I did a 5 second title/branding section at the start of every video. I don't now though and have removed it from some of my older uploaded videos, too, just to improve the retention. Thanks 👍 😀
I think your actual branding logo looks good. Modern RU-vid advice is to not bother with intros. Viewers may enjoy seeing them once or twice, but if you use it on every video, the 5 seconds just become something to skip over, or an opportunity for the viewer to stop watching. The 20 seconds outro will kill your watch time retention so really will just hurt the video.
