Thanks for checking out my channel. Panther wave is here to provide panther related information and content. To all the family that loves their panther rides lets keep this going. Maybe on day FORD will make another platform comparable to the original.
Official ride of Panther Wave 99 Crown VIctoria LX purchased from a older gentleman with 86k two years ago now she has 105k still going strong. People ask why do I drive such a big car. It is safer and people see it for two. Plenty of space for hauling family and everything else, it looks good while doing all of that.
My dream panther is a Mercury Marauder. One day I will get one.
I believe that's how I have it, each taillight comes with two bulbs and on my setup I have one LED bulbs on one side and halogen on the other side of each taillight.
Oil catch cans are very useful on most any engine. The only reason they've never been factory options is due to added maintenance and planned obsolescence. Anyone that says they are pointless has never seen their effectiveness on newer direct injected cars or old Mazda Miatas or Dodge Chargers. Cleaning that carbon and oil build up out of the intake can get costly. Great mod!
Hell yeah!!! Tip: Wash wheels and tires FIRST so brake dust and all that road stuff won’t get on your freshly washed paint when scrubbing and or spraying.. Other than that, dope job and clean ass car. I got a 97 Vic from an older couple in great condition other than faded clear coat. I’m gonna get it painted back to original color in March of 24
It is perfect, not too high or to low. Plus I swapped the trans pan with one that has a drain plug. Pull up on ramps, loosen drain plug, let it drain and then unbolt pan.
@@pantherwavecrownvics bett it sounds pretty good. ive been looking for mufflers to use but theres not a lot of videos out there of a fully stock system with just different mufflers. ill probably be going with the super 40s💪
Did you happen to try the Motorcraft friction additive? It's roughly a 10oz bottle. I think it was 10 or 11 bucks. Fixed my 4R70W right up!! Shifts and pulls like new now.
Hey, thanks for watching my video. ... I have read about that additive and saw mixed reviews in regards to of it works or not. What transmission problems where you having before you used that additive?
@@pantherwavecrownvics I had sluggish shifts through all gears and every once in awhile a shudder going into overdrive. I don't remember exactly where I heard about this additive. My local parts house had to order for me. Which only took a day. But I can honestly say that it's made a noticeable difference. I'm normally pretty skeptical when it comes to additives. But I'd stand behind this one. I mean no, it's not going to fix a transmission that's all clapped out or a converter that's smoked. But it did fix up my issues.
@@abitoffcenter383 Hmmmm 🤔🧐........ Thanks for the feedback, I currently have the shudder fix additive in the fluid now. On my trans, I feel like the converter is slipping when in overdrive. My rpms are slightly higher at cruising speeds. I used to get almost get 30mpg on the highway now it's like I have a 3.73 gear and only can get 22-25mpg on the highway on a road trip. On my next fluid change I will try that Ford additive. My trans shifts pretty good at times, one moment it shifts snappy on 1-2 shifts and the other times it's lazy/jerky. In the future I want to install a built valve body.
Thanks for watching... yes it is a great inexpensive exhausts setup. I will one day add a x-pipe after the H-pipe I have never seen anyone do that. Have best of both worlds.
@@pantherwavecrownvics I guess whatever you normally do. Just record your ride to work, or listening to music. Maybe going through a drive through. -Chuck
