Catching up on your videos (been dealing with my own burnout 😵💫) and am sending you love and support as you love yourself thru this time! But also - please sharpen those knives! (Saying this as someone who used to let my knives get dull all the time, so no judgement). You should be able to slice easily thru your tomatoes without the starter poke and shouldn’t need that much pressure to get thru your veggies. A good sharpen will make your food prep even easier and more pleasant - plus, dull knives are more likely to slip and cause injuries. Wishing you luck on your post-birth control journey! Relearning my body after years on the Pill was a journey-but worth it! Even switching to a different type of hormonal birth control can have a HUGE affect on anxiety. My first (low-dose, progesterone-based) pill made me SO anxious and miserable. A different formula (estrogen-based) was a lot better for me anxiety-wise, and stopping the pill altogether was even better.

It’s challenging but does get easier to find a rhythm (10 years in now!). Also listen to Wellness Her Way pod or connect with Gracie. Don't worry, everyone feels bad at some time and this often helps to start again better than before!! Excellent decision to stop taking the birth control pill, the advice I can give you is that you will have to learn to “know” your body and his needs, it’s totally different without the pill… I recommend you to read a book that helped me a lot: "period repair manual" by Lara Briden, there is also an audiobook on Audible If you prefer listen than read. It will help you better understand how the woman cycle works, there are tips and even a section dedicated to the birth control pill. You also have “In the FLO” by Alisa Vitti , also on Audible . Take supplements of your folic acid with your diet , it’s the first thing that is missing when you take the pill , and it’s very important if you want a baby in the future .
