안녕하세요? 저는 지금 미국에서 보딩스쿨다니는 여학생의 엄마에요! 제 딸이 CWRU 의 PPSP(pre professional scholar program for dental school) 이라는 프로그램에 진학하고자 합니다. CWRU 은 grading system 이 다른 학교와 다르다고 알고 있어요. A학점은 a+나 a- 가 없이 a학점만 있다고 하더라구요. 다른학교에 비해 a 학점 받기가 어려운가요? 학점관리가 안되면 치전원 진학이 되지 않아 걱정이 되서요(NYU 는 a학점받기가 어렵다 하더라구요) 학점받는것에 있어 CWRU 가 어떤지에 대해 어떻게 생각하시는지 궁금합니다TT
안녕하세요! 제 개인적인 의견으로는 cwru에 아무래도 a+나 a-가 없기 때문에 다른 학교에 비해서 a를 받는게 더 쉽다고 느껴질거 같아요. ppsp는 cwru 치대까지 합격해놓는거라 그냥 pre dental로 들어오는거랑은 달라요. 만일 따님께서 그냥 pre dental로 진학하신다면 같은 수업을 듣는 대부분의 학생들이 pre med/pre dental일거라 같이 공부해서 좋은 학점 받을 수 있을거라고 생각해요! 하지만 그렇다고 해서 무조건 a 받기 쉬운 학교는 아니에요. pre med/pre dental로 높은 학점 유지하는 학생들을 많이 봤지만 아닌 학생들도 봤기에 a 학점 받는건 학생마다 다를거 같아요.
Hi! I think dorms really depends on your preferences! Most freshmen prefer juniper dorms(taft, cutter, smith, and taplin) but I personally think Norton and Pierce has the best location :)
It is definitely a good one for pre-med/pre-dent, engineering, and nursing in my opinion. Other courses are decent too. If you are one of the three above, you won’t have to worry abt jobs. I don’t think it’s the best school for tuitions tho🥲

I’m not familiar with grad student life :( but I know that there are a lot of events that grad students can participate! Going to them might be a good way to meet new people and engage in campus life :D

Congrats on getting into Case! I’m an International Studies and Medical Anthropology double major with a History minor and probably Public Policy minor too. The courses that I take are very interesting and I enjoy them a lot! But all of the courses that I’ve taken so far are focused on reading and writing a lot, but I’m getting used to it

May I ask a few questions: 1) how easy it is for you to take classes outside of your major? 2) I love art but I applied for CS. Hi! Congrats on getting accepted to Case! Thanks for the questions :) 1. It is really easy to take classes that are not related to your major. You can take any courses that you want and just have to finish your major requirements before you graduate! 2. Unfortunately, I do not know well about this one. I have met a few students who take cwru classes or joined sororities from the CIA, but I haven’t heard of the opposite :( But there are some art related courses in Case too. 3. I’m also an international student, and my tip would be be open to any possibilities! You’ll meet people from a diverse background-more diverse than you can imagine-so be aware of that you’ll run into those who have different ideas or opinions on things and you can learn from that! My answers got longer than I first intended, but I hope this solved some of your questions!
Go somewhere else.... Spent my first 2 years in cleveland, it's literally in the neighborhood with the highest unemployment and poverty rate. CWRU would have been so much better if it were in ohio city or lakewood. You would not feel in AMerica in East Cleveland. 5 st away from campus and you have to be worried about gettinf robbed/stabbed/shot
Hey there! I'm an international student intending to major in CS and love art too!! Just found it a happy incident to find a person with that exact same combo xD. I didnt manage to get into any art class i want for this semester (they re gone too fast T.T) but i'll be faster next time
