I'm in love with the VeriCROSS. I bought one just to customize it because they literally embody their era perfectly. Like we all remember the bright colored Mac computers and the crazy monitor housing. Well this is the car version of Y2K to a T.
You got all that money into that thing, next thing you should buy is a new brake pedal pad lol. Looks a little worn. On a serious note, how does the engine hold up with all the added weight? I would think it's sluggish.
Good video but your names are wrong. The upper part is the hatch. The bottom part is the tailgate, like on a pickup truck. There are some very good plastic panel pry tools sold at auto parts stores, Amazon, eBay and other places for just a few dollars that won't mar the plastic panels. Thanks for the info.
A couple of thoughts: 1) I wonder how he installed the shore power thing to his. I honestly don't camp much, but I still think having power hook-up would be a cool add. 2) The push button start thing. I love push starts, but I had read or heard they can be problematic and not worth doing? If they are as reliable as key start, I'd definitely look to do that one to mine!
I made a comment earlier on your live. About ruining the pump when I should've said. Ruin the components running it without oil. My bad, my mistake. I wanted to elaborate more on the. Concerns you will have in about the transmission at the end of your video if we had come to the conclusion that we found the leak. And I'm pretty sure that's what it is. It's leaking but it is also affecting the vacuum on the shifting of that transmission that it works on. I worked within it, so you're going to get that conflict from that transmission because there is a leak Any it is affecting the vacuum System of its shifting process. Then all mobile has a lot of miles, but nothing has anything to do with mileage. When you're talking about a Honda, they're run forever. As long as you put preventive maintenance, phone them well virtually forever. Good luck. I will look for more of your projects.
I can’t thank you enough for your help today. The most rewarding part is having people like you in the live to help me out. The filter comes in on Tuesday, so that will be the next time I work on it.
I have the same running boards my only complaint is that they are not wide enough for people to step on. I don’t have an issue as I don’t use them to climb into my Honda but my late wife and my sister who are short had issues getting out of the vehicle. I bought them many years ago for less than $300. I like the way they look on my 04 though.
Thank you. This is a really good instructional video. I need to remove the trim piece on the driver side of my 03 as I have a water leak I need to find. This will help me a bunch. Scott from Florida.
I made it to the end. What a great review! There were so many impressive sweet Elephonte mods that made me stop and think, "JuiceBox could benefit from that same mod." Only to realize my ADHD caused me to miss the next mod being reviewed. This brings me back to the beginning of my comment, I made it to the end... twice. I had to start over because there was so much happening. 😅
you make me a proud owner of a 03 element, and I have been taking good care, 139,763 miles. can't wait to upgrade the air intake, I want to improve performance. tell us what you do to keep it alive at 400,000 miles! Please....
Just take care of your E and it’ll take care of you. Keep up with maintenance on a strict and frequent schedule, better to be early than late. Don’t get discouraged when something goes wrong, just get through it and you’ll never regret it. It’s easy to fall out of love when something big fails, costs a lot of money, time, stress etc. If you catch yourself in that situation, just remember that once it’s over, you’ll be able to continue to drive a car you’ll love even more
Can anyone tell me where you can find the slim door molding trim? I’ve looked and can not find them anywhere. Recently was in a wreck and one was damaged.
