I made it for the 4th attempt. Melandru stopped following me after a while, and because the map isn't that popular, it became harder to fulfill some achivements. Thanks Ayin.
This MP is absolutely not worth the freaking time. It is by far THE worst MP I've ever seen. It is nothing less than absolutely retarded on every level, is designed by some sick sadistic monster who wants people to suffer. Just go do something else, it'll be far far less frustrating. a -- there is NO progress indicator in this -- are you going to need 10 ingredients? 20? 100? b -- the idiot is running all over the damned place, and if you don't have a clear line -- and I DO mean an *absolutely clear and unobstructed line* -- even IF you have the target laid on him -- it doesn't land. And yes, anything -- even a "counter" which holds object -- including the CORNER of the counter -- is going to block it. c -- again, the idiot is running all over the place, so, if he starts moving after you've thrown it, well, he isn't going to get it unless you're lucky. d -- his standing points are all over the place in a L-shaped space. The various ingredients are .... *_all over the place, in an L-shaped space_* -- which means you will be constantly in the opposite side of the space from where he is, and unable to actually throw the ingredients to him until you move still *more* -- having already run halfway across the map -- just to get into a location where you can hit him: See "b". e -- there are actual COUNTERS in the way, so even if you are right on the other side of it, he won't "catch" the item -- you have to have absolute physical line of clearance to throw anything to him. I absolutely LOATHE the asshole who created this, set the ridiculously short time to complete on it, and hope he dies a very drawn-out, lingering, and extremely painful death. *LITERALLY.* None of this is directed at AYIN, of course. It's just warning people off on wasting their time -- it's two hours of frustration in which you STILL won't get it. This is WORSE than any jumping puzzle, and I *hate* jumping puzzles.
FWIW, one other option is to go up to the top of the DH, where the grubs, the MP, the Vista, etc. are -- use the springer to get up there, follow/glide/springer along with the top wall, and you'll get to a point where you are high up, can (presumably) go no further (notable because you are on a "hole" in some purple "branded" glass), and then glide (using the jade bot to climb higher two times, once at the start and again just before you get to the pillars -- it will recycle by then)... you'll land just past the scarabs at the tomb and have dodged all the mish-mash fighting and backtracking otherwise needed to get to the tomb. Obviously, this does require some advanced character traits, given the springer and the jade bot gliding improvement. But it was fun testing it, and it did work as I hoped, with no needed fighting on the way there. Of the elites, the toughest one I found (did not fight the "elite guard") was the damned imp. It evades like 95% of your shots, it seemed. The Aataxe was also somewhat of a challenge in one of two fights, as it has some ridiculous healing power. I had it below 60% and suddenly it had recovered to 100%. I just kept hitting it (Ranger with a rock gazelle, so lots of interrupts) and eventually nailed it. The first fight it was easy, so... it may not always get that ridiculous heal off)
I know this is super old vid, but since Im working on vision now and just had to do this. I ended up switching to my Necromancer alt, I killed all non veteran out of the circles, or moved over to where aurene could fight them away from a circle, and then used Spectral Grasp to pull the veteran into the circle to kill it. The AI pathing on this was very irritating
GW2's guide queen - thanks again. Gave up on getting gold.. not wasting time practicing this one time trash. Thanks anet for wasting time doing stupid tasks, yet again
This helped, but what happens if I find the key in my garden but the quest doesn't appear in my quests, and now I'm just stuck with the key in able to do anything with it 😭
