This movie is a patchwork quilt of other movies and stolen ideas. I.e. Creature from the Black Lagoon, Hellboy and first an foremost the work of Jean-Pierre Jeunet (The city of lost children and the bath scene from Delikatessen). And a plot with a alyways horny and masturbating cleaning women who has free roam to connect with fish man for a bit of sardine romance, come on. And of course, she turns out to be a gilly creature as well. Who would have known?
What do you mean? When was I ever on top of the world? I had like five successful videos four years ago, and those were not the kind of videos I wanted to make. This is what I like to do now. I have other kinds of videos I want to do, but they are honestly more work than they are worth
@@Pleasedontmakeascene btw I have been subscribed to your channel since the doom music videos and I noticed that you are not applying in the subscription as of the past few months but when I go to your channel I see videos posted that I should be able to see in subscription I think the RU-vid algorithm does not favor you
Thanks for subscribing and for watching even though I don't do memes anymore. My channel was always a movie review channel (or at least since I actually started trying for real), and those doom memes were a fluke. The algorithm has probably never favored me and I don't know how to please the algorithm. Of course I could make more popular content, but I want to make content I like and that is more important than being successful... kind of.
If you read into the character psychology he is trying to save humanity, on a smaller scale. Right the wrongs of the past and make sure something like the gas wars or water wars never happens to his people again
For any one that was wondering the Rambo duologue at the beginning is from Rambo 4 when he's making his new knife go watch the movie it's a frickin masterpiece
100% agree that the original Directors, Writer and cast should be consulted or even just get feedback on any future Blair Witch films, tv series, games, novels, etc. Dan Myrick and Ed Sanchez had written a script for a sequel but unfortunately Lionsgate hasn’t moved forward with that because they wanted another ‘found footage’ movie (that became the 2016 Blair Witch, which I believe is underrated, minus the overuse of jump scares). Unfortunately the cast were in their early 20s when the original film was made and not no legal representation or guidance on signing their rights and names away. The Blair Witch Project was a ‘lightning in a bottle’, it was a cultural phenomenon that you simply cannot replicate ever again. Im not sure what Lionsgate/Blumhouse has in mind, I just hope that they don’t ruin the Blair Witch Legacy with another sub par sequel in attempt to ‘cash in’ on the brand name. *I had no idea Joshua Leonard played a bikie in True Detective season 1, he is a chameleon. Good on him for still acting and working hard at his craft, Legend.
How awesome would it be if they introduced john wick's father played by none other than Chuck freaking Norris. That would literally explain everything.
I really do not want to be mean. You are right, it does not matter. But when the nerds argue, what do they matter? How is it ruining the movie? It's a bit ironic 😅
Thank you for checking out the podcast. It doesn't actually matter. People can argue as much as they want. I guess it is more anecdotal. I have a friend that got stuck in that fan theory rabbithole for years and I constantly had to hear him talk about the ending of the thing and who's actually infected or not. It would drive me crazy, for all the reasons I mention here in the video.
That's for damn sure. Early on in their... career, or what ever you would call it, there were a couple of duds, but since 2015 they have basically only produced bangers.
I remember Jerry talking about this a while ago. I like pop-tarts and Seinfeld so maybe. I watched the trailer and it looks about as good as anything else anymore....
This movie made me nauseous, The book was written by an old white dude. The whole concept seemed to reek of paedophilia which made it nearly vomit inducing. How could Emma Stone latch on to this?
You'll be surprised on how many women fought in this war. GRRM showcased female power in politics and war - exemplified by Rhaenyra and other female dragonriders. They will definitely introduce female characters who are just badass.
Rhaenyra was officially the heir. That's what the Blacks were saying. Viserys made it sure by giving her a ceremony in which all the high lords of the realm made a vow to defend her right to the throne some day. The Hightowers, on the other hand, were more about precedence. There have never been a queen, all kings. And the customs of Westeros is that men take over precedence women in line of succession.
Jace and Cregan Stark are on the wall and they haven’t shown us any of the hype stuff at all trust me. and you have to remember that this season is all about the war so don’t expect a lot of talking scenes
@maryjaneshoe-fm4yr If you think that Godwin saying “I’m eunuch. I cannot fuck her.” Means that he wants to molest her, then I’m seriously concerned for your mental wellbeing. To jump straight to ‘HE CLEARLY WANTS TO MOLEST HER BUT CAN’T’ is insane. He explained in over-the-top scientific terms why he can’t have sex at all, then when Max doesn’t understand he decides to say it as simply as he can. That’s it. He doesn’t want to molest her. Your take on that scene honestly baffles me. I’m second guessing if you’re even serious or if you’re just trolling. Also, I’d suggest you go back and read my initial comment with both eyes open because I actually never said that Godwin is a good guy. My point was that it wouldn’t make sense for Bella to “leave and rebel” when Godwin was on his deathbed. Regardless of whether or not Godwin is a good guy, he treated Bella with nothing but love from the moment she opened her eyes. So it wouldn’t make sense for her to abandon him in his most vulnerable moment.
