37:38 Whenever I go down this corridor, there's a cutscene "Don't come any further". If I keep walking, there's another cutscene and I die in a fireball. Any idea how to get past it?
I'm wondering how much time takes it game without any addition ''help'' info, if it takes 2.5 with the ideal gameplay. By the way, game complicated enough for play through, as I could see. About several months or years. (^_^) (Like 7; Comm 0; View 70)

It is halloween. This is a teaser game for Alone in the Dark 2, wich takes place around christmas. I think thats were the christmas connection comes from. You can also wear the Santa suit in AitD 2 :)
Game didn't attained the rank of AitD1 coz it more likely western blockbuster than a horror. There is not enough traps and scary creatures for attain that rank. And a music are pretty average for some. But it has a good interior likewise AitD1 as well. That manor and underground levels are perfect implemented. (*_*) (Like 6; Comm 1; View 139)

Oh god. I played this or the first one I think when I was very young. I really liked the outside area of the mansion and whole spooky vibe and general presentation but gave up very early in the game due to the clumsy combat and controls.

Thank you! I couldn't for the life of me get past one of the puzzles in 17 so had to download a save file to skip to 18 but I know there's some story stuff that I missed as a result!
Thanks! This Chapter is a collection of pretty obscure puzzles without story, except for the Belial fight later. I had to use a walkthrough and played it through a couple of times before recording this, so using a savegame to skip this part is a good option.
