Knife reviews that get right to the point. My name is Jay and I am a big fan of shiny metal that cuts. Some of my all-time favorites: Spyderco Domino, Benchmade Presidio, WE Practic, Civivi Praxis, Kizer Gemini, Cold Steel American Lawman, Hogue EX03, Hinderer XM-18, Viper Vox Fortis, and just about anything made by Ferrum Forge. I have very few "safe queens", so I use what I buy. It doesn't matter to me if a knife costs $20 or $500, if it looks good, can cut stuff and has great action, there is always room in my knife case.
Nice vid Jay. Did you have any issues with the vosteed raccoon button lock ? I would like to purchase one but I wanted to have feedback from your experience. Thanks as always for sharing.
I really like the storage bags from Blade HQ. Heavy canvas, large pockets, 3 rows, fold-up with carry handle and cinch and snap buckles. Come in black green and blue. Fit in gun safe very well. Best I have found.
Hi, Jay. So, you say some of these designs are well made, & with me disagreeing, (& at the chance of me sounding like a total asshole) I would care to see some cuts tests from you to see how you use your knives & different designs. Perhaps learn different cutting techniques. ( I don't mean any disrespect towards your handicapped nature. You very much have my respect.)
@@TheKnifeBeater I made the mistake of taking a 80 dollar knife fishing, and yup you guessed it,I lost that sucker. Didn't realize till the next day, these knives are of decent quality and losing 20 is mo betta than 80.Thanks again @TheKnifeBeater I got my eye on the shortie ganzo.
This is such a stupid knife. You could get a Buck Bantam for a similar price, that also has several sizes available, that doesn't have an exposed edge when folded, and that's made by, I dunno, ACTUAL US WORKERS?
funnily enough buck is probably the worst knife on this list... you just cant get an american knife in that price range that is gonna prime quality....
Ganzo is such a nice budget brand. I really dislike the knife snobs that undermine them. They just need to enter the 14C28N game and they'll be the perfect beater knives.
You might want to consider using your phone to record your audio. Because whatever microphone you're using has no treble, makes your audio sound really flat and has a nasty buzz overdrive ☹️
Thanks for the sub! Welcome to the channel, glad to have ya! I just looked at it and I think it should fit, but you might need to widen one of the holes on the clip. I do it all the time to make them fit.
I'm impressed with the scales finishing on the first Ganzo. Nicely rounded edges unlike some of theirs from the past that I sanded myself. (But for such a cheap price for all the other quality I kinda enjoy doing it.) If I was a collector or if my Ganzo FB 760 workhorse failed after all these years I'd definitely grab that one. However, I always appreciate the eye candy you serve up Jay. Thanks!
Yeah, I agree with you about the Ganzo. I know what you mean, it's fun to mod the budget stuff and it's not the end of the world if you make a mistake.
