Hogwa5h Gaming is here to showcase games of all types. Yes, all types. That includes sports, board games, card games, outdoor games, simple games, complex games, video games... basically if you can but the word "game" in the description, and I have the means to record the game in some semblance of quality, I'll probably make a video about it.
Now as clarification, I do not explain every single rule. These videos are merely to give you an overview of how to play and let you see if it's the kind of game you would like to buy or invest time learning.

If you have suggestions for videos or games for me to try out, leave them in the comments. I'll see what I can do.
I got this game for my 6 and 10 year old kids. We are using this game to learn geography at home. I modified the rules a little bit for my kids. We are really enjoying it. Thank you
Hindsight: if I had activated the claws to ready up, then thwarted before flipping down to AE I would have won in much the same way. The extra activation I got earlier in the game is harder to justify so yeah, not a perfect run, but hope you have fun watching anyway!
Used to watch ur videos 8 years ago for nerf knowledge. Time changes in a glimpse of blink. You are still uploading mate,no one watches u but don't worry i will be here all time..
10:10 ahh yes, classic mistake of playing the Barbarian over the Dwarf, everyone knows that the Barbarian can't hold a candle to the dwarf. True aficionado of the game know that the Dwarf is strictly better!
I've owned Sorry since the 1990s. They changed the card design, but otherwise it looks like the 1970s version. I don't like the new version. I don't like the design, I don't like the fact that they removed a pawn, and I don't like the rule changes. It appears that they sped up the game and dumbed it down for a generation that's basically too impatient for board games.
The original art was way better and more adult-fantasy style. As a kid it would provoke so many emotions and made the game feel so much more real and scary.
I went in 2022 with my dad. It was my first convention and it was so much fun! One major complaint I have was that it was incredibly hot downstairs. After chatting with somebody from my school's D&D club who went in 2023, he said that it was less hot. I'm going again this year and hope to have a wonderful time!
I know I'm late but I really don't see what's so confusing to people, maybe that's just because I learned as a child who knows. You just draw to 5, play cards from your hand or top of your piles in the middle 4 piles in sequential order, with your stockpile taking priority over your hand, and your hand taking priority over your discard pile. Then you discard one card on top of any 4 of your discard piles, or draw 5 more cards if you play your whole hand before discarding.
The modern version of the game is clearly dumbed down so that a generation who needs to be warned not to drink battery acid, can have a chance at understanding the rules.
Point capture?? The game is 10 minutes for example The aim is to have the most points captured There are two teams, and lots of points, that have sone kind of indicator to show if it belongs to either team. The players start ay opposite ends of the location and race to the points. If you get shot, to the graveyard, and then back to team base. Im mot sure how capyiring could work, it could be as simple as flipping a bit of paper from one side to another, or maybe something which takes a little longer to do. Maybe turning a big catdboard box upside down. Tjanks if you read this
Growing lots of extra arms was done as a sort of joke in one of Alan Moores stories in Supreme iirc when the Jimmy Olsen knock off started to grow more and more arms until he was like a weird huge ball
We played a game where you could put down your melds anytime you want, and can add on to the other person's meld. Winner is first person to have no cards, no point scoring, just bragging rights.
This is a modified version of Mexican Train. The way it starts can make it quicker at the beginning. Puremco has the official rules from what I've been reading on the history of the game. However you may need to read the rules more than once to fully understand them. When playing doubles not satisfied the players train/maker is put up, the next player must do the same. And so on until satisfied.
Definitely slowed down but still active! The way to blend the games typically is to shuffle the treasure card from both into one deck, and the door cards into one deck. I've never played the deluxe versions, but I would think the process would be the same.
I just 3d printed this game without knowing the rules. It closes into a nice book for the book shelf. Didn't really care for the rules but said ehh let me youtube it. Now I can't stop listening to this guys voice
