I like riding bike with my family and making videos. I like trying new bikes out as well. Hopefully you enjoy videos and it helps to get you out riding more.
i am looking into getting a horsethief thanks for the video... i ride a hardtail right now which i really like and enjoy but i am ready to step it up...looks like your ok after that little crash...see you on the trails
Hello question please, I'm 185lbs. I have a 2021 DVO d1 suspension and I was trying to set the sag but it wouldn't even go down with only 80psi. I feel like it's sticking. Help- thanks
I’m going to be honest I’m no mechanic. I watch RU-vid videos to try and learn as much as I can. I guess I’d let all the air out and see if you can get it to compress that way. Then add some more in and see how it goes.
Hi. I'm thinking about this bike for my son. He turns 4 in September. His inseam is 16". I know they advertise this bike as requiring an inseam of 17". Just curious what your daughter's age and inseam was at the time you bought the hedgehog? If I go with their Gecko 12", I have a feeling my son will outgrow it within a year.
Yeah for sure he will outgrow it in a year. They are pretty small. Our daughter has been a strong rider and started out on a strider so we pushed her to ride sooner. I’d go bigger bike but I’m kind of cheap to.
I didn't catch what size you had for your build. I'm thinking about getting one but trying to decide on a size. I'm 6'3 and around 170-175 lbs. I'm probably gonna go with the long version since I always have trouble with sleeve length being too short. I'm on the slimmer side with wide shoulders. I'm unsure of whether to go with medium or large. Would you know if this is more of an athletic fit?
I’d say more athletic fit. I have an XL I’m 6’ about 230. They are good about return shipping if you get wrong size. Yeah without knowing you but your description I’d say do a large long.
I have been thinking about picking up a pair of snow shoes. I haven't looked into prices or anything about them. Can I buy a pair of Amazon for cheep, or should I look at Scheels or Cabelas and spend more for quality. What would I look for in a good set of snow shoes?
Bought an Aptus Jacket a few months ago, one of the best jackets I've ever had and works great to layer. Not sure if yours is different but mine blocks wind like a brick wall and with a 230gm wool baselayer I'm good to about 35 degrees. As it gets colder I add a thicker insulated jacket over top and I'm good down to very cold temps.
Yeah, I’m impressed with it. For how light the jackets are they work well. I found the cold kind of seeps in from the wind. Once I add a better insulating layer stops that cold seeping in.
@@mnfatbikefamily1592 yes, I experienced that too. I'll add a big puffy or parka on top and paired together it works well to keep me comfortable into the single digits.
I rode the commencal meta ht. That bike I thought was more fun. With it being more slack and it was more enjoyable on the down hills. After riding it the ride stuck with me about how much fun I had. This all city was just meh, wasn't anything special it was a bike that worked. For what it cost at the time I thought it wasn't worth the price. But i'm also not looking for a bike like that. But if you are wanting that bike the frame was pretty cool looking. It rode like a standard hardtail just nothing special.
Nice work, I'm heading up in a few weeks and have been watching quite a few vids of the area and this trail looks awesome. New Sub here. There sure are a lot of us in upper mid-west.
Yeah the trails have been growing and along with them the culture and people interested in biking. It's fun to see it becoming more popular. Where are you headed to ride?
For me it wasn’t a bike I’d buy. It’s a cool unique bike, I like the frame and paint scheme. But I’ve ridden different hard tails like the commencal that I like better.
Tin Man sorry, I think I meant rattley. Just didn’t feel like everything was really right and solid. Might be due to the fact it is a rental and beat on.
The new Bobsled is made up of the old Tugger. Bobsled is a way more physical trail now. The old Tugger downhill is a surprising little workout. Then through the rocks, which used to be a winding path uphill get a whole lot more interesting when its downhill. Night rode new Bobsled yesterday. Its a whole different animal in the dark.
Joshua Rebennack mountain biking in the dark is a whole different animal I enjoy it. Different challenge. I kind of like old bobsled better it was a fun quick trail. But I like the differences now to. Just little things I miss about it.
@@mnfatbikefamily1592 There are 2 minor changes I would make to the new Bobsled: 1) add a shortcut from the entrance to the bottom of the old uphill, on the outside of the last berm corner for a hot lap, 2) North Shore up the rocky section between Trout and where the future Cuyuna Connection will hook up. Some rock rolls, maybe some 6"-9" rock drops, etc.
Joshua Rebennack where will the new connection hook up be? I guess I didn’t see that spot. Yeah I though an exit at the bottom of bobsled would be nice to instead of having to ride trout around to get back to parking lot.
@@mnfatbikefamily1592 Which connection? The one from Cuyuna? That one will leave for Cuyuna from Trout on the north side of the lake and return to Bobsled about half way down the west side.
Chris Lukenbill the old one was a pretty quick trail. It only took 15 minutes to ride the new version so still a quick spin. The new berms at the end are worth it right now so smooth.
