@@NickIsenhour i dont regret buying it,so far its my favorite pistol. I bought the one with a red dot already installed. Its lightweight, fits good in my hand, low recoil. Im thinking about buying another one.
Change the magazines and check out for the gas valve on the - position I have never move this divisive a😢my mcx virtus patrol rifle is working perfect 😊
Appreciate you taking the time to showcase such a nice and candid setup. I also appreciate how detailed and thorough you were! Also, what's your other channel?
Also a big thing with the XCarry legions, apparently there are some issues with feeding while suppressed. FTE issues if using a non Sig branded suppressor, without changing the recoil spring/ guide rod. I’ve been hearing though that switching out to a 1911 style 11-13ib spring fixes the FTE issue with non SIG suppressors. Just something to think about if you decide not to use the MOD 9
Geer, I've been doing it wrong all these years. I should be slamming the slide shut on empty, THEN loading the mag into it, THEN racking the slide to load!😆
I have a Vox s and had to do a warranty claim through them because of a crack along one of the welds for a baffle. I delt directly with the ceo who was great to deal with. He paid to overnight it to them, fixed it the next day and overnighted it back to me. 4 days from my email to them to it back in my hand fixed. According to him it’s happened to like 10 of them out of thousands or something like that which I understand nothings perfect but I love the can and do not regret it one bit. (This was before EA was sold) but I understand the former ceo is still there just head of development or engineering something like that.
Name of the Z cars were always about the size of the engine. 240 was a 2.4L, 260 2.6L, 280 2.8L, 300 3.0, 350 3.5, 370 3.7. When they decided to go back to a 3.0 they didn’t want to go backwards, back to a 300 Z so they just dropped the number designation altogether. A lot of people still call it a 400 though…. (Incase anyone wasn’t aware)
Whats really nice is the hero discount applies to all first responders, i get the discount for being EMS. So keep that in mind for anyone considering one. I just have to save a little more and i will have one of my own!
Just a word of caution. I own the FDE model and it has a problem feeding HST ammo. Every one of my 4 magazines will have at least one failure to feed. Not good for a self defense pistol. HST is the only defense ammo I use so it should feed properly or it will just go to the safe. I sent it to Rost Martin twice to analyze this problem and they sent it back saying they could not duplicate the problem. Apparently they did not try HST ammo because of the cost. I have tried to put 250 rounds thru it with no luck. I was hoping it would just need a break in period. I polished the feed ramp and chamber so it is slick. This is a very nice firearm but........... It is a shame a new company has to have problems with its first run of guns. I will just continue to carry my M&P 2.0 Compact, which has been flawless.
Trd is amazing. Only problem is it’s pretty stripped down from gadgets on the interior. No heated seats, usb in the back, single channel ac and heat, no foldown in the back…etc
I love the Mete Series of Canik pistols and have always thought they had an incredible out of the box trigger. That said I recently shot a Tisas PX-9 Gen 3 and have to say that their stock trigger might edge out the Mete trigger. It was 100% functionally reliable and was ergonomically pleasing in the hand. What blew my mind was the price. I did a search and have found a base model carry as cheap as $311.00 making it an insane value. If you are going to be reviewing budget friendly firearms you might consider checking out the Tisas range of pistols.
@@NickIsenhour it is remarkable how the Turkish firearms manufacturers seem to be building firearms of quality that are rivaled only by the likes of companies such as Walther, Sig, H&K, and so on. Yet, these offerings come in at pricing that is currently inhabited by the likes of Taurus, Diamondback, SCCY, and other somewhat questionably reliable but "budget friendly" firearms. I hope that your experiences are beyond initial expectations.
I’m hoping so. I’ve had a couple Caniks in the past and they had so so reviews but I liked them so I’m sure the Tisa will be nice. The only budget pistol I didn’t like was my 2nd pistol purchase. It was a S&W SD9 or something like that. Been a long time ago
@@NickIsenhour The SD9 was basically a rebadging of the Sigma which was S&W's first run of polymer pistols and a Glock 19 clone of sorts. The triggers were horrible IMO and the texture was equally as disappointing. I have heard that they have had a number of updates for 2024 but I think I would still rather go with a Taurus G3 variant.
