Why in your churches people do not pray on their knees? The house of prayer is the place where God’s children bend their knees in prayers.. when someone important enters the room, wouldn’t normal person stand up and greets him/her on their feet? Why God falls in the lower category? … 🤔. But the choir sings beautifully.. praise the Lord!
I pray God continue to bless Cantate and all the people involved with it. Thanks to all involved and thank God for your work praising Jesus Christ and fulfilling the several Bible verses that say "sing a new song."
Beautiful singing! A bit ironic though that Anabaptists are singing here in a Catholic church. The Catholics martyred our forefathers and seized their assets just a few centuries ago! I understand the acoustics are awesome in a building like this. Just don't forget that there is an awful lot of blood money that helped build these churches.
It’s a shudderingly powerful song….nearly too much to read…..thank your sister for me…it certainly made me cry in a stunned rush…very special and unexpected
It’s criminal that this has had so few views, on so many levels it’s beautiful, dedicated and artful and also symbolic of shared depth and sane ecumenism seeing its in Catholic Church….. And it’s done at Christmass……although I’m not sure Mennonites do Christmass !-) Thank you and I will share this AND subscribe
@naradaian, Mennonites have any number of big family gatherings around Christmas, and the sermon on the nearest Sunday is usually themed around Christ's birth. For a few Sundays before Christmas, Christmas hymns will displace the regular hymn selection. But we don't have a special Mass associated with Christmas, though.
I dont know who Marcus Klassen is but this is incredible. Well done to the choir too. Seems like everyone involved in this may have been batting above their pay grade on this one.
