Letting Odobert, Twine and soon Berge , McNally and O'Shea go ,Parker won't have a team to pick. After nearly 66 years avid support, I cannot continue my support of the club. Americans come in and plunge the club in debt, then hiring that Belgian naive fool who just bought and bought, mostly foreigners who wernt even adequate and now we have a bloated squad of next to useless foreigners. Burnley fc is an English club, playing in an English league, representing an English town. Until Pace, ALK and all the foreigners leave and give us back our club, I've totally lost interest. None of our youngsters ever come through, the likes of Phillips, Benson, Dunne and Thomas and had to leave to get a chance to play. Richardson, Dodgson should be in the 1st team and farming Costelloe and Mellon out to lower league teams is stupid. Several of our under 21 team should be in or around the first team as we don't have a reserve team many players don't play at all. Two of our goalkeepers won't play everywhere and it's the same in the under 21s where there 4 or 5 registered goalkeepers. We have become like Chelsea buying and signing players for the sake of it. Pace is doing what the obnoxious Lord did bankrupting the club. How many of the players representing the Clarets against Luton are still with the club next week? Already Odobert has gone, O'Shea, McNally, Berge and today the wonderful Scott Twine has left for Bristol City. That is the last straw for me, why Twine why not Bastian, Massengo, Tresor Churlinov, Beyer all useless, but no it will be Benson and Koloesho sold next whilst the worst players remain and half our academy on loan at non league teams. Not my club anymore, not my team anymore, just like the rest of the leagues players, rich overpaid foreigners diving, feigning injuries and cheating everyday they can, destroying the game I've loved all my life. Good analysis and the most strong example of the switch BFC are playing was that great run from foster and pass where vits slotted it for 4th. Near perfect transition football where its hard to say what formation burnley played as it changed in positional transition.

Great pts and he's gotta be better than Case or Amarabat!! I like his awareness to stay central as well. Those two couldn't have started in Burnley midfield or most championship sides last season over the whole season. Legs gone on Case and Amarabat so overated because he played well in 3 of 22 matches he played central. Still tho feels like a midfield decision like Weghorst was prior 😊. Berge and Anton Stach would be amazing buys.
As a Man United fan I like the idea of Sander Berge in the team. I think he is a underrated player. With that said he is not a traditional no 6 but he have both the engine and the physical precence to play in the no 6 role and do it well. He is a very allround midfielder and I belive that he can be a very good signing for Man United who will bring much more stability to the Man United midfield and for aorund 15m its a nobrainer.
