Reason #6 sounds like Chicago, my older brother resides in Nashua, and loves it. My nephew was stationed in Portsmouth for 3 years, and didn't particularly like it though he proposed to his wife atop Mt Jefferson.
What transport can get from Boston to Laconia? I can’t seem to find a bus or train. I wrote a novel based in and around Laconia. i live in Adelaide, South Australia and am visiting the US in September of 2024 and plan on visiting Laconia just to see how much I got right.
We vacationed in Wolfeboro from 1968 to 1994. Mike LaMedica an uncle purchased land known at Port Wedlen. We were the second house in after the model house. I actually had the pleasure of speaking with the current owners who now live there telling me that should I ever find myself back in Wolfeboro to stop by and say hello.
One friendly tip: You spent the first 3 minutes of a 15 minute video talking about yourselves and trying to establish "banter." That is not what people are looking for. Just jump right into the good content that you offer and people will respond. Way too much "filler" in the beginning.
Touch if I was going to buy property in New Hampshire. It would have to be at least 10 acres to do a family compound. And make a man-made Lake for RC boats. That would be my dream to do for me and for my family
Powerful Motorcycles going by my home every day would definitely destroy my feeling of peace and quiet and nature. Guess what? I have that right now. Noise pollution can be nerve wracking over a long period.
Living in New Hampshire is the best decision I made for my family and I especially if fishing, camping and hunting best state to live in and spend time with love ones
Hi I lived between Alton Bay and wolfball growing up when I was a kid and I did many of the things you mentioned in your video Alton Bay is definitely a great place to live and/or vacation good video
We didn't live there we vacationed there we own the home while three homes in succession from 1968 to 1994. In Port Wedlen which my Uncle Mike purchased we will the second house after the model house. I was eight then on 62 now.
Thank you, guys, very much for the tour! Squam Lake is very beautiful. I worked in Camp Hale in the summer of 1996 as an international camp counselor and fell in love with the nature. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, not only the lake but the small towns around it as well. People are very friendly and nice. All the best to you!
Meredith town dock's, smells so bad in the summer. The geese poop everywhere x5, and do not swim in the lake you will get what is known as duck itch a small worm-like parasites called schistosomes. I ride a motorcycle and from the lights to the fire station smells like ass.
I lived there for a total of 15 years. Yes, there are annoyances, but there will be anywhere. Politics never even came on my radar. I want to live there again, I really do not like where I am now. However, I don't know how we could afford it. ~ Heather ~
If you are that concerned about ticks and Lyme disease , you just may be stuck inside in any number of places besides The Lakes Region of New Hampshire. ~ Heather ~
Great video, I'm interested in visting the area. This was the first video that came up. So much information. My wife and I learned so much. Thanks for creating this content.
Visiting parents for the week and in my opinion your assessment is underrated. Ive never traveled outside of the Gulf Coast area , so i am blown away by everything here especially scenery, natural and man made . Paradise in the summer , never been here in the winter .
