@jechocomision3459 if you can get a mechanic job. Especially heavy diesel, it's like 2000-2800 per week. Plus food and housing paid for, so just straight stack cash.
Thanks for the video. I recently passed the POSS/MOSS exam. Im currently looking for employment and I wanted to ask you something. What’s your best advice you could give me to starting out as as plant operator?
People will notice if you can remember the last readings on your rounds. When something goes wrong, they will ask the operator what was this number for this system, psi, temp, ect. Do your best to remember the numbers maybe for the last 2 rounds. Sure it's on the computer, but if you can just whip out off memory "oh the fan drive hz was suppose go be 8, but this last hour it was 32, then this last check it was just reading over over heated" that information really helps the mechanics, showing patterns.
Has this been the storm from today? Do you know before, when such stronger storms come up? How do you prepare yourself or the buildings for that? Or is there no preperation necessary?
This is my first season, but I was told by the seniors, that in July and August it tends to be the worse. Sun comes up August 19th I heard though. But yes this storm is June 6th, we're NZ time so a day ahead of America. Seems to be they are prepared most of the winter, which started last month. But with less then 200 people, less hands to do heavy work.
@@Acontractuallife Thanks for your answer. Very interesting. I know a lot of McMurdo Station, because I am very interested in all things regarding this place. Unfortunately I have not been there until now. According to the Web site time and date sun comes up at August the 18th McMurdo time already this year, but only for some 13 minutes or so. I think it is one day earlier because of the leap year. But I think you do not see it from the Station, because it is behind Arrival Highs. May be I have more questions, if you post some videos about McMurdo, because for me it is one of the most interesting places on the planet. Perharps I will have the chance to get there one time.
