Man a sequel to Twilight Princess would be amazing. I’ve heard some say they’d even want a remake of Ocarina of Time in a realistic TP style, which I’d also welcome
Metroid Prime: "Allow me to introduce myself." I think Metroid Prime in particular strikes the perfect balance between stylized and realistic graphics.
Yup Metroid Prime and Metroid Other M were actually some of the games that inspired this video! They already take on a pretty realistic style and with better hardware, I think the games could look incredible
Miyamoto always wanted Zelda realistic in 3D. He stated "You know, it's not too late to change course and make a realistic Zelda." during Wind Waker's development. Early games had realistic official art drawn by Katsuya Terada. Ocarina of Time's art style was rendered even more realistically in the 2000s Spaceworld Zelda tech demo. As well as the North American commercial for Oracle of Ages and Seasons.
Oh wow I didn’t know that! I really like how the Zelda series has always changed its style but a part of me wants to see Zelda in a fully realistic style. Especially if that was what their developer’s have always had in mind for the series, I think it just needs to happen again (TP being the first time). Hopefully they’re able to come through with it with the Switch 2
Graphics aren't everything, style lasts the test of time. That said the switch is basically a smart phone in terms of specs, so can't really expect better until a switch 2/pro/+ or whatever they will call it happens that is at least an 80% power increase happens
Totally agree with you. Style does outweigh graphics. I’m not really opting for graphics over style, I’m just saying that I’d like to see the series take a more serious/realistic style which obviously would be enhanced with better graphics. I’m really banking on Switch 2 rumors for the graphics and processing to be a lot better tho haha
Oh wow I’ve never heard anyone say they’d want a Zelda in the MK8 style track but that’s actually really interesting to think about. It’s kind of similar to the Hyrule Warriors style in a way. I’d actually be really down for a full game of that. Also I’d disagree that TP isn’t realistic. It may seem that it’s just a muted color palette, but that might be because of the hardware limitations. I only say that it is more on the realistic style because Aonuma himself has said that they made TP to be the “realistic Zelda.” You can see that quote at 01:58.
Thank you man that means a lot! I started this channel with hopes that it would be a one stop shop for people who are into videogames, basketball, and music so this comment really means a lot. I hope you stay tuned because I have a lot more planned!
Warning: Fire Emblem, once again, replaced "sexes" with "forms". On top of that, the political correctness is happening in the Japanese version too. The Twitter comments by Nintendo and the Japanese Fire Emblem accounts showed them. Make video game companies understand by not buying their bloat video games.
My main concern for this game aside from the questionable art style (3D Character Models) and the gimmicky engage mechanic, is that I hope this doesn’t turn away any potential new fans. Like if this game turns out to lean heavy in fan service over good story and mechanics, newer fans may skip over fire emblem in the future…. And that can be bad….
Yea I agree with you there. I think the gameplay looks good so far but too much fan service and a bad plot could definitely turn newcomers away. I’ve already seen reactions like that from non-hardcore FE fans that don’t seem to be super excited for this game, but I still have high hopes for it
A remake of a classic series like melee might also be possible - keep mechanics/characters the same and change the graphics and effects. They could also add a story mode to it to appeal to a newer audience. Similar to the Pokémon franchise’s Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl.
Thank you PK I really appreciate it! Really means a lot to hear that after posting my first video. I'll definitely keep posting more content, so I hope you stick around! Thanks for watching!
That's a good guess considering a new iteration of the Switch or whatever Nintendo's next console is would probably launch around that time, so a Smash Deluxe to coincide with it would make sense. Thanks for watching!
