Hi there. I see this is from 10th April 2001. I was actually on the show on 24th April 2001, lost my VHS video recording of it, don't suppose you have copy of that date just since the dates so close? I have emailed STV to see of they can help, it was show 74. I'm on it in a black shirt and their are 2 girls on it against me one with glasses a d the other with red hair.
Unfortunately this is the only John and Terri episode I have sadly- I hope the other one resurfaces somehow :) Maybe contact Kaleidoscope to see if they can source it?
I bet the crew had to change the separate segments on the words board for each round. Now the modern version of WOF has fixed segments with digital lettering.
And since Challenge will refuse to air any John Leslie-era episode again, the master tapes to this season will forever remain lost to the public eye. I'm sure Leslie's first (and only primetime) series is lost media as well because I don't recall that one airing on Challenge when they did re-air his episodes. In all honesty, this season (and the Paul Hendy one) feels like it took a heavy budget decrease from the prior seasons, because despite the series being turned into a daily series at this point, the set still looked nice and so did the wheel. Here, it's all cheap-looking.
I understand what John Leslie has done, but at the same time I feel those who love Wheel of Fortune are being robbed just because of John Leslie hosting a number of episodes
