The diversity, the excitement, the natural beauty of the greenery and “Lake” appeal and the overall vibe, is truly life-changing.

It's close enough. And to some, the Gold Coast has expanded to include everything north of Chicago av and east of LaSalle. I guess you can say it's the new 21st century Gold Coast. But it sure looks empty compared to the old Rush St days.
Chicago genuinely has disgusting awful night life idc how much chicagoans cope with that fact. Much much smaller cities have miles better nightlife than chicago.

God this looks beautiful! Here in Germany we only had a few weeks of snow this winter...and not even consecutive, one week snow, the other gone and the next it's back and so forth...😢

The summer is going to be sheer hell. Itll be interesting to see how the lack of snow effects states up north. Kiddos never realize how much of our water comes from snow. Even in the southwest: we rely on it.
