Centering this did not look easy!

"...massive bowl." Is the understatement of the year! Dude just put 50 lbs of clay on the table, and starts shaping like it's a reasonable amount 😂

Demo was good but the volume was horrible and the camera person was not on the correct side

Your glaze choices are amazing for the work done. People often forget how difficult choosing the perfect glaze is. Lovely work

Good to know that a Lockerbie can barely take the pressure of this. I thought they were tougher than that.

Great video. Well organized and presented. Keep it up. One suggestion that I found helpful to add to your method.... I have several wooden eggs purchased from Hobby Lobby that I used to insert into the base of the spout to get the opening perfectly symmetrical where it attaches to the pot. Plugging the base with one of these wooden eggs also makes a good handle while further shaping and refining the end of the spout.

Where can I buy one of the dowels you are using? Taking a class and need to make a long spout. Thank you much!

Thankyou Stan ! Was stumped as to how to hand build a spout for my first teapot - I'll give your method a go. I particularly like the way it gives me free reign to push the spout out and play with it a bit. I suspect I'll be making several before I make one I like :))
