You’re late to the party 🙄. Donut media put a set of wheel locks on wheels they were NOT made for. These locks are specifically made for specific wheels.
Of course… I’ve been playing with cars for a while now, and have certainly had my fair share of accidents and failures 🤷♂️. I’m certainly not perfect by any means 😁👍
You’re absolutely right! It no longer looks like a “heap of junk” after a good detailing 👍. At this point, following a bunch of preventative maintenance, and with it wrapped in a beautiful blue, you wouldn’t even recognize it 😁
I can tell you a secret I don’t know what you know or understand about direct injected engines but this fuel mixing with engine oils exist on diesel engine for a really long time. So the solution is simple take a note the only real solution is engine preheater that has a circulating pre heat pump and actual heater. Keep your engine at 60 degrees C and if you are smart you will also install a pre club pump. If the engine is up to temperature when you start you would never have to run to rich trying to warm up the engine the piston rings will be selling and you will not have fuel leaking in to your oil this is the solution.
The 1.5L L15 engine internal are identical to Fit L15 engine. The parts are the same just stick a turbo change piston ring and call it a day. The engine was never designed to boost, the con rod are smaller than D series (aka weakest Honda engine in 90s) make more power than K20. It's at max from factory, but when covid hit parts supply get interrupted quality drop the max engine will have problem. (L15 make B16 look like way overbuilt)
100% worth it to do it yourself. Dealerships will charge over $100 (Local dealership quote was $130) and Oil Change shops will use the cheapest Oil & Filters they can buy. Quality Fluids, Quality Filters, periodic maintenance, and sensible driving = you can easily expect +250,000 miles from this vehicle. Thank you for this video.
a bit mis leading... if car is stolen, reports were for older hondas as they are easy to get parts for... but yes, sadly on 10th gen, oem wheels and tires getting stolen when people part them in areas where they cannot monitor their cars... sadly, crime is on the rise in the USA...
Just wondering if this mode stops vsc from turning back on? I drift mine quite alot and have had it turn back on mid corner causing me to come off track because vsc suddenly turns back on
I would think somewhere around 1300cc would work. Bigger the better for power, but sometimes the bigger injectors are a little more difficult to tune for smooth street driving. Also depends on the fuel you’re using. I’ll probably start off with 1000cc and go from there depending on how I want to progress my build.
I’m a honda master tech. It is due to the thinner ceiling area between the cylinders. For whatever reason, Honda put a small cut in between the cylinders so there’s less sealing surface. And I agree you guys all need to sue Honda. I’m pretty sure my 2.0 head gasket is starting to leak now and my wife’s 1.5 at 56,000 miles already had to have a head gasket replaced.
Now that it has been 3 years, how have they been holding up? How many miles have you put on them? I want to get them for my 21 2.0T sport but I'm not sure if I wanna do this or coilovers
They’ve held up great 👍. I’d do it again - the drop is perfect for me, and the fact that I am able to retain the Tourings adaptive suspension is exactly what I wanted 😁
General rule of thumb that I use, is to start bolts or nuts by hand. Using an impact or electric ratchet to start a bolt/nut is risky. All it takes is one skipped thread and now your bolt/studd/nut is ruined.
i would say not having a trunk button might annoy me personally. i would look for a way to disable the fake noise. the tail-happy nature of the car is a plus for me :)
Hey love your videos. At the moment I have a 2.0t touring with 43k miles. I wanna go fbo but scared it will mess up with the reliability. I want to know how it’s been with all the mods on the car if it has gave you any issues yet.
Glad to hear that you’re enjoying the videos 👍. Regarding reliability… I’ve not had any issues with the car (knock on wood), but you experience may vary 🤷♂️
Something else to consider is most oil companies put additional additives for cleaning in the premium unleaded that they do not in their regular unleaded.
I have a 2019 accord sport with 10 speed automatic. It has 78k with no issues. Still on the original brakes. I did have to replace the battery at three years.
Thanks for the great video with lot's of useful tips including setting the ride height, preload and compression before installing. I put the same coil-overs on my ND3 GT. The whole project was pretty easy and kind of fun to do. I dropped mine 1 1/2 inches front and rear and kept the same front to rear aspect. I saw no reason to loosen the lower control arms on the front and I just removed the bolts on the top two links on the rear and didn't touch the other links and the change out went fine. I also only used 2 mm of preload and the springs are pretty fast to load up. I'm so impressed with how radically better the car drives and feels now. Worth every penny.

Just got a tire rotation and the guy did it wrong I believe he put the rear tires on the front without crossing them and putting the front tires to the back
I did this to my gs300 in 2021 for turbo and 10k miles later it's still working great. Never used E85 in it tho. I'm curious to see if the E85 affects it at all. The cross over hose in the tank should be changed out for E85 I would think.
That’s good to hear. Thank you 👍. You’re absolutely right, if/when I do begin to use a higher ethanol content, I’ll go back in and swap out the siphon hose to a PTFE.
It’s almost 15$ for the oem air filter when yesterday at the dealership they wanted to charge me almost 70$ just to change it out and like 50$ to change my cabin air filters
There is just about no car made in the last 6 years years that you can own without a warranty these days. They all have major issues. CVTs, carbon buildup, head gaskets, fuel dilution. paint issues, AFM. Oil pumps, timing chain guides, etc. The list is endless. Not sure I'll ever buy another new car with the intent of owning it once the warranty expires. 3 year leases for me.
@@TheLemonFactor I've got the same exhaust setup on my 2019 ND2 GT-S, and noticed that the drone in the cabin (with top up or down) was almost entirely eliminated when I installed the Verus Engineering sound tube delete. I was genuinely shocked how much drone was coming from the sound tube, and how much better the full greddy exhaust sounded with the sound tube deleted. Your mileage may vary, etc. but it made a huge difference on my car.
