Love your color choices. It turned out great! You do a very good job of explaining the entire project. If I don’t want my runner as wide, do I just make my shorter strip a 1/2” bigger than my square & my longest strip 2” bigger than my shorter strip? Thanks!
I’m new to your sight today. Your video was very easy to follow and had great tips for me, as I’m only a year into Quilting. Thank you for your hard work 👏🤩
I have a terrible time with regular cotton batting. It seems like it takes on a life of its own. Not sure why! Your instructions were very clear, and it was a pleasure watching your make your runner. Do you have any suggestions for what type of batting would be less inclined to stretch out of shape while cutting and sewing it? I've taken to using fusible fleece for table runners and placemats due to my inability to show the batting who's boss. Thanks for the video!
Consider switching to plain white or off white flannel as your batting. I wash my flannel, iron it, double it for the batting, and use that. The runner actually lays very flat and pretty, and the flannel is quite nice to work with. Just an idea. OR, look for a thinner, dense batting.
I saw this originally watching Donna Jordan. She used it as a way to place cut up panel pieces that were not all the same size onto same sized backgrounds. Thank you
