How do they not smell after wearing them so much and not washing? I never understand this do you guys not work in them? Are they just for the fades? Not hating just asking because they look sick af but i just wear ariats at the moment and i am wanting to step into the selvege denim relm but everyone says they go months of not washing and if i wear mine for like a week they feel greasey. I couldnt imagine a heavy fabric like for actual work in the sun and them not smelling.
They don’t get smelly really because denim is such a breathable fabric. I’m wearing some Momotaro jeans right now that haven’t been washed in more than a year and they don’t smell at all. The greasy feeling parts have usually absorbed the most sweat and are usually the first parts to start ripping but then you just get them patched up. They do look cool tho
@@ligitmuffin yeah maybe you sweat a little more or maybe it’s what you eat that makes your sweat stinky but I have no reason to fib! I’ve seen some people use like an odor eliminator spray like Febreeze or somethin. But yeah, a lot of people think it’s weird that I don’t really wash my jeans too much
I wore a pair through welding school 10 months 5 days a week 8 hours a day I just did soaks if they got too caked with metal shavings and whatever I will say don’t buy a a pair with stretch like I did if you’re gonna work around anything kinda sparks or flames it burns up real bad
@@rexthvi Can't wait to see them. On my channel I look at selvedge (and other clothes) from a slightly older guy's perspective and high-contrast fades are an edgier look but undeniably striking when done well. Be well!
@@sivispacemparabellum4563 it was a bit difficult at first getting them on but they stretched just enough. Thats why i say i prob should have went with a sz 30 for a better comfortable fit
As a deminhead myself I liked the first outfit the best but the third one was pretty cool as well. The sock pattern in outfit 2 was pretty cool and it matched the chinos and shoes nicely.
Anybody who lifts weights try one of these shirts? I'm only 5'9" but I wieigh 175 and have a 40" chest and broad shoulders. My Rogue Territory denim jacket in a size large is a very snug fit. If I go with an XL in their shirts I'm afraid I will have to get the sleeves tailored. Any body around my size out there own one of these shirts?
I’m a 32 but I bought a used iron heart 888 pair and the thigh/rear area was tighter than I’d like. Thus was a 14 oz. Do you think the 666 25oz would be too tight also? I have tried on a new pair of 888 25oz in a 33 waist and the sales associate said this was my size.

For reference, i went with my usual shirt size M and at first it was a little big. After the first wash, it shrunk down slightly to just the right fit. Hope that helps
Bought mine last week and was curious if mine was fake as it cost me just fraction of what is selling on line. I have same exact copy so far. It is just a low key jeans . I would have more like if they make it more medium to high rise. It seems it’s a mid rise but nearly a low rise if not a low rise by definition. I need a better belly flop reduction or else if I can weight I am afraid my ass crack will be displayed on plain shirt tucked. Really rocking mine. I am 30 on the 150th Levi’s edition stf but got the 29. It was just snuggly and bit tight initially without soaking. I am curious as what can I do to shrink the length but retaining the waist line as it is already too fit at 29 still not soaked. Would the cold water soak prevent it. I am having second thoughts to soak or not.😂
A soak will shrink the waist only temporarily, it will stretch back out after you wear it a couple times. Waist stretch is pretty wild on APC so don’t be too concerned about it
@@rexthvi wow thanks what a relieve to hear about these. Would you recommend a cold soak for these then. I am afraid I will not fit on a hot soak as it just fits me and needed initial stretching to make me comfortable on the first time I wore them. Wore them couple of times so I guess thats why I feel like it just fits me perfectly though I already eat more the previous succeeding few days and was been on sedentary mode. I plan though on loosing weight probably 10 kg the next weeks via keto and IF which I used last year and is very effective.
Hi Rex. Thank you for the vid. Looks like I will be grabbing one of these as my very first Japanese heavy raw denim. What are your recommendations for sizing? I am normally a size 33 with typical Levis pairs. Should I go 34 for my first heavy as they seem to take a bit of time to break in? Appreciate your thoughts.
Always check the actual measurements on the website. The waist will stretch very minimally so don’t size down. Material will be very tough to break in and button up initially so make sure the actual measurements are not too small for your build
