Good advice there john!👍 The worst I've seen is when they catch the fish they just unhook them and just put them on the bank or in a bag to suffocate! I've seen experienced fishermen do this!😡
I've met that woman bailiff she's a proper jobsworth! She wanted to check my flys to check if they were barbless i just laughed at her and told her to jog on! I was wading the middle of the river and she was shouting down from a high bank so she fucked off when I started ignoring her! Stupid bint!
Hope the fishing adventure goes well in the future. charity shops are so dire for what they offer, local tip shops are quite good. Found some ps2 black label game there for £2 where you go local charity shops / retail and they charge a arm haha!
Not a great many critical thinkers sadly amongst the angling fraternity. They think that paying for a rod licence, day tickets etc is normal. 🤣 They don't see it as yet another scam tax. 🤦♂ I own all the rivers in the country. So do you. Our birthright.
I sold 2 bite alarms other week as I upgraded them and guy got back in touch and had a chat and I offered to pay £30 refund back to him to get them repaired and he was ok with that even sent me the damaged list,saves having bad feed back from on my account
Pretty much untouched buddy. Very difficult area to get to. I imagine fly would be supurb as the fish were chewing the worms to pieces. No hook ups with bait.
Thank you for posting this and warning potential buyers about this scam seller. I have had sellers on the platform try to scam me a several times over the last 10 years. Ebay has been very good about standing behind me as a buyer when this kind of seller behavior is pointed out to them. I have had to open over a dozen cases with bad sellers, and I have been found in favor of and fully refunded every single time by Ebay. In several of those cases, Ebay has even removed the seller from the platform entirely after the case has closed in my favor. Never be afraid to stand your ground over a sketchy transaction with a dishonest seller.
To be fair, I like buying cheap reels and rods just to see what I get. Not all my gear is cheap, belive me. I've bought some Star 20 reels for £7 posted and I really like them. I also bought a Shakespeare omni spinning reel for £14 and it is an excellent reel.
They finally refunded me. Just seemed like a lot of hassle for a cheap reel. I used to make a living on Ebay but unfortunately, due to new rules being implemented constantly by eBay and the foreign power sellers completely taking over the site, sadly the flea market of old has long gone.
@@grumpywelshman1 Ah excellent. Yea i've been online selling since early 2000's. made a living selling online for 25 years now! Still run an eBay shop but mostly custom 3d prints that the Chinese can't supply at a decent time.
Remove the spool. There's a brass nut that holds the rotor to the body of the reel. Tighten it down and a small screw to keep it in place. Then put the spool back on.
@@grumpywelshman1 If there a business they cannot refuse, just open it on order details. Say it was defective. ebay will automatically open the return and they will pay the return label aslong as you put defective
Iv had a few thing sent that where faulty... messaged sellers and they either don't reply or tell me to get it repaired somewhere... The ones that get me are the free postage, where I pay for the return postage... how when its free...? I even had 1 seller say I was being racist... how can I be racist when Iv never met them or seen a picture of them..? I try to avoid any seller that has anything remotely Chinese sounding eg.. Happy Tiger etc... they're proper ignorant them...
if the seller says to pay for return postage back wait till you can ask eBay to take over and they will refund you the money as i had a seller try that and in the end i got a full refund
the lockdown has had many repercussions the dafties getting dogs and treating them like kids. the ones getting large gardian dogs and allowing them to take over the pack. these fools just ruin is for everyone. my Tibetan mastiff is so calm with other dogs but still their owners get all worked up. the rescue scam from the eastern EU is another mental situation. like we don't have our own dogs to rehome. i have a rescue Caucasian shep. as well ,both are well behaved both bark a lot. we walk at midnight to get away from the fools and their pocket size babies. mobile phone never leave home with one since the lockdown.

I went to jollye's yesterday for pet supplies. They had a big sign out promoting "vaccines on friday's for your cats and dogs". I know for a fact that those jabs shorten the lives of animals and give them the cancer.

God bless ya! Do you ever use spinners for the trout? Looks like there’s plenty spots to pull a mepps 00,0,1 through. 7-8ft spinning rod. 1 spool of 4lb line and another of 8. Small pack of good quality snap swivels. Or does the river fish better on a float?
There are so many snags in the river that it's a bugger to spin it. I tried spinning and bottom fishing and both ended in frustration. Floats seem to be best as overhanging trees put paid to fly also.
I have never came across any Scot, English, Northern Irish, who would stand against Wales voting to become an independent nation. The problem is internally with South Wales, and North Wales divide. Both have different cultures, and views, which is never talked about for those who want independence. Why ?
