We Boje's are a family of ebike enthusiasts that opened our own ebike shop called BOJ-E-BIKES in Batavia, IL ~ 35 miles from Chicago. Our Brick & Mortar store is located on the Fox River Trail and we provide Sales, Service, and Rentals of anything ebike related...but we primarily provide education and a chance to come learn about this exciting hobby.
Nice ride. What type of range did you get? I'd be curious to see one ride throttle only and one where you rode in, say, PAS 2. Nice-looking bike, though.
I personally like the obsidian a bit more just cause its a bit lighter and easier to handle in terrain like this, plus the Mokwheel settings and nice to, you change the speed limit and the intensity for how fast it accelerates. The Himiway Cobra is also a great bike though, its a beast of a bike. I think the Himiway brand has a better quality bike compared to the Mokwheel in my opinion, just by a little bit. But at the end of the day you gotta try them both and see what you like more cause everybody is different. If you are near our shop we have the Mokwheel Obsidian and Himiway Cobra, plus a bunch of other different bikes you can try, we do free test rides. We are at 26 N Island ave, Batavia, IL. You could always call or text us if you have any more questions at 630-777-4220. Have a great day!
Your terminology was not laymen friendly. Practically everything is not visible as your camera is too far away. Rotor bolts torque specs sound important so spending an extra minute close up with the specs seems called for. Useless video as it seems directed to those who know what theyre doing and wouldn’t help a pro shop or a guy at home
Sorry about that. That was one of our older videos and we were still a bit new to the whole recording stuff. we are always trying to improve our videos. Next time we get an obsidian to build, we will try to make a better video on it for sure. Thank you for your input, it helps a lot.
We are working on doing reviews, but we own a shop where we do sales, service and rentals, so its a lil hard to find the time to make them. But we do want to start doing them at some point.
Yes it is available, we actually have one in the shop you could try if you are nearby and interested. I think they came out with this last year or maybe even this year.
What motors do this ebike comes with? I know the rear is 1000w and front is 750w, but Bandit's website do not have any information on motor brand. Are front and rear suspensions adjustable? Finally, what are the sizes on break disks? Thanks!!!
Fantastic bike. One of my favorite purchases in a while. It's one of the only E-Bikes on the market that is AWD, rides like a scooter, and yet looks like a bicycle, so it doesn't draw attention on bike trails. So many of the e-bikes in this class (and this powerful) look like tiny motorcycles, which isn't what you want because you'll get kicked off bike trails or potentially stopped by police when riding on streets. The battery is built into the frame of this bike, which sort of masks it. It looks like a beefy bicycle. Also, the seat on my X-Trail Pro is SUPER comfortable.
Great bike review you did assembling and riding too well done😊👍 Someone thought it has a very poor battery range limit. Could you please tell what sort of battery range are you getting. The range would be pedal assisted and throttle assisted if it does it. After riding it for more weeks now are you still help with it and how do you rate it. 😊😊😊😊😊😊
I wouldn’t call us tubers, but we do have the same software with the same free music. Taking suggestions for better audio - what would you put in the vid?
I have had issues with the handle stem of ranger. Even though it's supposed to move while trying to adjust while standing with both feet on the side. It isn't supposed to when you are riding. If I do a slightly heavy turn the tire just stays in that place and the handlebar moves whereever I move. I have spent hours on that stem making it tight. I even contacted the customer service and they sent me a new stem and the same issue persists. Is anyone else having this issue. I am trying to return this product as I'm tired fixin that thing. Everything else is perfect. Just the loose handle stem.
Be advised - DO NOT BUY a Molwheel bike. Read up on them, their customer service is beyond terrible. Do yourself a favor and find another bike company to deal with. Currently holding my refund after two weeks and are seemingly playing games with my requests / inquiries on it. Terrible company.
I have question about this ebike. Does the D7 have the same type of motor connector to the controller as the zebra? Do you know what this connection is called?
So this place is 45 min from my house and I thought it would be great to go check it out and buy. Nope. Not in stock but they can order it for you. 😂 I can order it myself from their site. Why post this vid if you are not looking to sell inventory? What a joke
We likely sold this bike after it was on the showroom floor. We’re a full blown dealership for over 20 ebike makers and sellers. I’m sorry this one wasn’t available for you but there are about 50 other ebikes you can ride today. Check back often because we are a “carousel of ebikes” but our best sellers don’t leave the test fleet. Oh and you buy from BOJ-E-BIKES so you can get expert assembly, personalization, and have a place for warranty work. In addition to being a knowledge center and a place to bring your friends to ride bikes. We’re here for you, sorry this bike wasn’t.
Glad you spoke up. I think your bicycle shop is waaaaaay better than this guys (apparently successful without you) shop. You tell 'em. Oh that's right. You don't have one. Go start your own and run it the way you want to. I'm sure your winning personality will bring in droves of customers.
@@icestationzebraassociates2460 agreed! We currently have a demo X-Trail Pro in the showroom and 4 more incoming. Maybe that guy will come back - hopefully they’ll still be available! We have high step coming too
Great video. Just bought one. Hasn’t arrived yet. Do you believe it needs a suspension post? Not sure given it has suspension in the front and rear. Thank you
Thanks for the video. I noticed on the front fork above the shocks on one side is a red cap or adjuster and the other side is a black or dark colored adjuster. What are those for and what setting should they be set to?
Red cap is your lockout. Otherwise would be for maintenance. As for what they should be set to, it’s usually just riders preference. I keep mine open pretty much anytime I’m riding.
