I only got one: tune 3. A couple of others sounded familiar, but I've no clue what the names are. (Tune 3 is Carol of the Bells, in case anyone doesn't get it, which is highly unlikely.)
Hi! I used to be your student, I really love the way you teach and I can sight read with no issues, as well as improvise, thanks to what you taught me! Forever grateful! I’m the one who wrote a song and performed it at the showcase a few years ago along with “tightrope” from the greatest showman, you still give my cousins lessons.
Haha yeah, that's a pretty good trick, and I bet the crowd loves it! Sometimes at Santioni's I'd just shut my eyes for a while, like 15-30 minutes. But instead of announcing it, I tried to hide what I was doing because I thought the patrons would think it was odd. Clearly , I don't have the entertainer mindset. Anyway, it really is amazing how much muscle memory builds up over time!
Thank you Michael. This was the best and easiest explanation for me towards the staff notation. Loved how you showed it on the piano with the keys vertically.
My hands are small and it feels more comfortable using my pointer in the right hand. Do you think it will trip me up eventually if I keep using my pointer. The pinky hurts otherwise. And my main request is can you please show some things to do with the left hand while cascading. I really can’t tell what you are doing with the left from this video. I love, love, love the way it sounds when you are cascading here. Thank you.
@@Jacksonvillepianoman true but then u have to figure out what each # is and the Notes would have different#s depending on the key, also what helps me is knowing the notes so I put them there in case other people were the same as me with that
That's so cool! Although I loved The Mask and can quote a lot of it, I definitely wouldn't have recognized the theme. (Now "Cuban Pete," that's a different matter, haha.) Have you ever had anyone realize what you're playing?
These are some of the themes I reserve for music trivia “top tier”. Movies people know but may not remember the music. This is definitely one of the hardest
