My name is Piotr, aka Peter, I love to spend my time fixing electronics. I do believe that by doing so, we make this World a Better Place. After all, we put to landfill thousands of tonnes of electronics each year in the UK. I work in repairs for over 20 years.
I didn't do micro-soldering for all of that time, but, in 2021 I bought most of the tools and started to add more services. My plan is to buy all the needed equipment and be able to do 98% repairs. So, micro-soldering only from 2020.
My main focus is PCs, laptops, game consoles, Hi-Fi, CCTV and the rest of general electronics.
In 2022 I've opened Inte.Team which will help Us with the Right To Repair. Everything will be now under this new name Inte.Team. To distinguish the difference between my electronics repairs, I've created a website Screen-Protector.co.uk, and me and my team have created a booking system for us and all the repair shops.
Thank you, and, let's make this world a Better Place!
Hello…having an issue with my Partybox 100, works perfectly when plugged in but instantly switches off when unplugged battery gauge shows full but can’t turn on without it being plugged….any solution on this?
No I’m not…..I’ll keep you updated once I find the cause, could be the battery or the power unit I don’t know but without it being plugged it’s practically dead

Hi there, I recently bought the thermal imager. However, whenever I connect it to my PC, the software installer is detected as a virus, and my PC deletes the installer program. Now I've lost access to the software. Could you kindly share the software with me?
Helo I recently come across your RU-vid channel and was impressed by the quality of your content. How ever after conducing a comprehensive. Noticed there is room for improvement for RU-vid channel forgetting more visitors and subscribers # Your Thumbnail needs to be more eye-catchy. # Your video title . meta description needs to be improved. # Your need to use more relevant tags and keywords. If you want i can do a free work about for your better understanding . King Regards.
I've got not way to pay you, so, if you'll do a FREE work, I can't compansate it later. That would be not fair. So, not sure if you still want to do volountary work?
I have one of these on the bench right now and the problem is definitely on that little switch mode standby supply. The diagnostic method you have used is completely wrong. The on board fuse is open, but not because there is any primary-side short. You can read a short on the secondary side, and I'm pretty sure that the problem is one of the two secondary-side Schottky rectifier diodes. I ran out of time today to check further, but tomorrow, I will pull it to check it out of circuit
Thank you. Yes, I know I've made mistakes there, and I have it still here, I'll try to find time to check it. It was LONG time ago, and later I had completly no time. I've checked the transformer later and was OK. So, this one for sure was wrong. Let's hope I can have more time as my technician is coming back from holiday tomorrow and hope we can start to catch up with repairs. Our backlog is around 150 jobs just by the way.
@@screen-protector I got mine going. It was the secondary side diode short circuit on that little switch mode standby supply. The easiest way to get that board out is to just remove the whole back panel, and then the board above the psu. Much quicker than I thought it would be. The whole standby supply can then be removed and easily worked on. There are two diodes on the secondary side right next to each other. Looking down on the top of the supply with the mains input towards you, it was the one on the left that was short
Hey i have a question my boombox just stopped working one day no light no anything no charging so i bought a replacement battery and charged fully i did notice that when the last light i think is the 5th one never came solid it always stayed blinking so i unplugged the charger and it said it was full ok i started playing the boombox when it was by 2 lights it turned off and i went to charge and a single red light was flashing but it wont charge it just stays 1 red light flashing any ideas ?🙏
I'd check your power supply in this JBL or some electronics technician who works with power supply. I don't know what country so, in your country. I am staying in Scotland, UK.
Hi there, one question about your microscope cammera, is that the same model that you made reveiw video 2 years ago? You purchased it in 2021 so I am wondering if it still makes a good use? Thanks
@@screen-protector Update reveiw would be nice. I am mostly worried about the dept of the field, I thin I noticed that image gets out of the focus if you move your work up or down slightly! How much "wiggle" room do you have?
Hi how are you, hope you are well. I am your RU-vid subscriber. I checked out your youtube channel, your youtube videos are great, and your voice is very nice. Your RU-vid videos are not getting good views, subscribers, watch time. This is due to some problem with your RU-vid video. I can elaborate on your RU-vid problems if you want.
You see, I don't have funds to pay for help. And, even when I had 100/100 in vidiq, I haven't seen a huge increase in my statistics, so was waste of time and nothing else. RU-vid is only a part of our project and don't have to be profitable.
Can't beat Aliexpress for the cheapo tools. I get my tweezers there for jobs where I don't want to 'risk' my Engineer ones, they are pretty much disposable for the price.
Thank you for the comment. :) Most of the tools from Aliexpress prove to be not only worth the price, but do the job. I've saved thousands of £££ thanks to this platform and now my technicians who work from home save as well.
According to VidiQ your channel SEO score is very low out of 100 which should be 70+. If you want I can make it 70+ which will help your channel grow faster. Are you interested?
My party box 100 is getting on by itself and I switched it off and the same automatically gets happened it gettin on by itself what is happening I am using this like almost around a couple of months but don’t know what is happening help pls some one
You can either get it to someone who can fix it, or someone who can install an internal switch that can go outside and you can manually switch it on and off this way. But, without knowing where you stay and without diagnosing the fault, how you expect you to help? Especially if you'd fix electronics, you could do it yourself, and inside is mains power which can kill you, so how you expect us to help you?
Yeah, not only you need a proper 18650, you'll also need a high discharge one. The fire button will try to pass high current, like 8 amps or so are common for coils.
i observed your youtube channel and found that you mainly provide electronics repair services.Your content quality is great, but there isn't enough audience coverage, because your maximum video SEO score is very low. I will suggest you, RU-vid SEO: By improving the search engine optimization of your videos, you can significantly increase their visibility and attract a larger audience. Google Ads: I can bring you the view you want through Google Ads. If you need any help with RU-vid you can ask me.
I couldn't see any damage, and pressing was conductive. I wish it would be so easy ;). Plus, it is working in this weird key combination. That's the weirdest I had till now.
@@screen-protector besides the price £80-£90, I feel they’re more accurate Pete, Peak atlas ESR70, and Peak Atlas DCA55, I have a spare set in protective box if you want to buy it 😊
@@wisher21uk thank you. I'll have to look for a comparison video and specs for them. Might consider buying one if there's some significant difference in the performance :).
@@wisher21uk I've seen the first one, reminds me about the simple DIY project to recognize semiconductors. This one is more PRO. :) I'll try to find time to watch about the 2nd one ;).
I don't know of any chart program, sorry. But, the diagnostics software if you look for a FREE one @TheCod3r has one and you can search on his RU-vid channel :). There's a paid one as well, you can google by typing: PlayStation 5 diagnostic software.
You're right. But, on that time I had no one to do it, nor I was doing it. Since then, I bought it for spares, sold the PSU from it and bought 2 Xbox Series S. One has good APU - hope, and we've removed and reballed it already. We plan to place it on the 2nd Xbox Series S which is banned. Once that one is done, remove the Southbridge and place it on that Series X.
God only knows what that crack was, could of been a tiny flash of solder or a strand of wire on your mat who knows, and it’s worth mentioning the bulb needs to be 100w or higher
Hejka :). A spoko :). Mam 4 technikow na part-time, oraz 2 praktykantow.
I always check after recording and my audio is OK. Weird. I'll start to check on my mobile after uploading to compare. If I'd hear it bad, I'd for sure not upload it. But, I'll look at it from now on. So Thank you :).
@@wisher21uk I'd love to do them as well to be true. But, there are few things that I speed up: 1. I'm training few apprentices. 2. We've coded this BRO which we're using to manage branches, and I have extra work with web dev team for BRO further development + Inte.Team membership independent platform. 3. Most of the repairs are done now by my technicians, I do least of the videos. 4. I'd have to buy a new mic. There are good things as well: 1. We're helping other repair shops cause they've started to use our BRO platform and is easier for them to manage their businesses :). 2. I bought the same DSLR Canon 550D because our one here lost an HDMI connection. I'll open it and try to fix it, but... if anything goes wrong, I've got a 2nd one. 3. I've started to have some spare time. Yes I use it for other things, but once training for instance will be out of the basics, they can start to learn with our team and I can go back to making repair videos. Unfortunatelly how long it will take, I can't tell. Some of ppl learn quicker and others slower. And, to be true, I won't stop these repair videos, only have to have my time back & fix that mic. So, probably won't be within a week. I bought the capsule for the mic, and Pantom Power 48V, all is left is reamp to build. Once that one is done, I can assemble it and I've got a PRO mic here.
Great solution. Schematic to partybix 100 is on the internet fir free. Your right in the ball park with the 19 volts pc supply. The voltage is 24 volts. Or there abouts.. do you know if the partybix 100 will work with just the battery and no power supply connected. ?? Is there a sense circuit that tells to inrease the power output when connected to house current. Its rated at liwer output when connected to just battery. Im in no hurry... Ive got the same speaker.been on the back bench for months.! I relair jbl stuff. Boomboxes are great.. hard to get end covers off when people glue them.!! I buy them broken and fix them.. alot if battery proublems. When the battery get low and wont charge oeople just buy new ones. Pain in ass take apart. Screw city! Recessed screw on main board real pain..! Have a great day... Keep up the great videos.. !!
Thx for your comment. Yes, will work with only the battery, I think I've shown that on at least one of the videos. Yes, some of them are pain, totally agree on this one :).
Hi. Like your videos..your a great teacher. Ive tryed drilling out screws with some luck but on small stuff if you slip with drill and it breaks u can cause alot of damage.!!😥if the screws are into plastic try heating the screw with the tip of a soldering iron .. use patience! A little heat at a time... Use different screwdrivers until you gind one that gives the best bite..youll find the screes come right out. Bigger screws like recessed in power drills use a long narrow tip like weller tips. Even security screes like in cable boxs will come right out. Careful not to over heat or screw will just spin. Trial and error. I find is best. What part of the uk are you in?? Have a great day!✌️✌️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you :). EH54, so Scotland, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. It's in this Chanel's info, should be :). Or you can google Inte.Team on google maps in Livingston.
For bad weather the only solution will be more solar panels. I'd get secon of that panel and connect in paraller. Yes that PWM controller is terrible so that will not help either. Start with second solar panel. check how it works in bad weather. if it's still bad - replace pwm controller to mppt
Yes, that's my plan exactly and if you've listen, I have 5 extra smaller panels at the back of the house. My plan is to connect 240W or 280W one but in series as the amps won't raise, while watts will. But, that will be once I'll finish building my MPPT controller. The video will be on this RU-vid channel as well.
Im intrested by this topic as I run a few game server for my kids and their friends to play on and would be over joyed to be able to run them 24/7 off solar power alone. Thankyou kindly for your videos
Hahahahaha, I was thinking what Soring would do :D. But, unless the schematics is lying and there's something else hooked up which we've missed because we' followed the schematics, or I'm right ;).
@@alexbleks We fix electronics since the '90s, so yes, we still accept repairs :). Here is a subpage with most common problems and how we work: livingston.electronicsrepairshop.co.uk/problem.html
Hey SP👋🏼....just ordered one of these for £209...to replace a DOOGEE S97PRO. It's on way in post... I have 30 days to return, obviously without opening the packaging. Basically i didnt have time to review the KingKong9 properly before ordering. Do you know its date of release? And what are the android updates available for it... support etc? Only concerned because some say updates are not available now for android 13! I find that hard to believe. I'm obviously a novice to all this fast moving teenage tech 🤣🤯 Thanks
The video I've created was when the phone came and you've seen the date of ordering. I've ordered it on the release date/world premier date. I can't tell you about the updates :), sorry. I use it daily and I'm happy with it. If you'll experience problem w NFC, write to them, they provide a software fix. It has to be done upfront as will delete your data. The camera is not the greatest, but apart from that, I love it and would buy it again. Good luck.
