My name is Piotr, aka Peter, I love to spend my time fixing electronics. I do believe that by doing so, we make this World a Better Place. After all, we put to landfill thousands of tonnes of electronics each year in the UK. I work in repairs for over 20 years.
I didn't do micro-soldering for all of that time, but, in 2021 I bought most of the tools and started to add more services. My plan is to buy all the needed equipment and be able to do 98% repairs. So, micro-soldering only from 2020.
My main focus is PCs, laptops, game consoles, Hi-Fi, CCTV and the rest of general electronics.
In 2022 I've opened Inte.Team which will help Us with the Right To Repair. Everything will be now under this new name Inte.Team. To distinguish the difference between my electronics repairs, I've created a website Screen-Protector.co.uk, and me and my team have created a booking system for us and all the repair shops.
Thank you, and, let's make this world a Better Place!
Hi, can you advise? I have a Toshiba 65U6863DB. Left side of the screen is darker but you can still see picture. Will back light need replacement or main board or power board?
I have the same problem same model tv the red light on the bottom blinks twice before it restarts again if I open the tv with my dad I might need your help 😂
If the cap had a dead short or if you touched the probes together , the meter will read good cap with low esr, my does, and it refuses to go back to the OL screen display. I think think it may have something to do with the firmware.
I have the ToolTop version of this thermal imager, exact same spec just different colour. Super useful and really well made to Ui-T build standards I would say. Mine cost under £120 when on sale offer a few weeks back.
Hello…having an issue with my Partybox 100, works perfectly when plugged in but instantly switches off when unplugged battery gauge shows full but can’t turn on without it being plugged….any solution on this?
No I’m not…..I’ll keep you updated once I find the cause, could be the battery or the power unit I don’t know but without it being plugged it’s practically dead

Hi there, I recently bought the thermal imager. However, whenever I connect it to my PC, the software installer is detected as a virus, and my PC deletes the installer program. Now I've lost access to the software. Could you kindly share the software with me?
Helo I recently come across your RU-vid channel and was impressed by the quality of your content. How ever after conducing a comprehensive. Noticed there is room for improvement for RU-vid channel forgetting more visitors and subscribers # Your Thumbnail needs to be more eye-catchy. # Your video title . meta description needs to be improved. # Your need to use more relevant tags and keywords. If you want i can do a free work about for your better understanding . King Regards.
I've got not way to pay you, so, if you'll do a FREE work, I can't compansate it later. That would be not fair. So, not sure if you still want to do volountary work?
I have one of these on the bench right now and the problem is definitely on that little switch mode standby supply. The diagnostic method you have used is completely wrong. The on board fuse is open, but not because there is any primary-side short. You can read a short on the secondary side, and I'm pretty sure that the problem is one of the two secondary-side Schottky rectifier diodes. I ran out of time today to check further, but tomorrow, I will pull it to check it out of circuit
Thank you. Yes, I know I've made mistakes there, and I have it still here, I'll try to find time to check it. It was LONG time ago, and later I had completly no time. I've checked the transformer later and was OK. So, this one for sure was wrong. Let's hope I can have more time as my technician is coming back from holiday tomorrow and hope we can start to catch up with repairs. Our backlog is around 150 jobs just by the way.
@@screen-protector I got mine going. It was the secondary side diode short circuit on that little switch mode standby supply. The easiest way to get that board out is to just remove the whole back panel, and then the board above the psu. Much quicker than I thought it would be. The whole standby supply can then be removed and easily worked on. There are two diodes on the secondary side right next to each other. Looking down on the top of the supply with the mains input towards you, it was the one on the left that was short
Hey i have a question my boombox just stopped working one day no light no anything no charging so i bought a replacement battery and charged fully i did notice that when the last light i think is the 5th one never came solid it always stayed blinking so i unplugged the charger and it said it was full ok i started playing the boombox when it was by 2 lights it turned off and i went to charge and a single red light was flashing but it wont charge it just stays 1 red light flashing any ideas ?🙏
I'd check your power supply in this JBL or some electronics technician who works with power supply. I don't know what country so, in your country. I am staying in Scotland, UK.
Hi there, one question about your microscope cammera, is that the same model that you made reveiw video 2 years ago? You purchased it in 2021 so I am wondering if it still makes a good use? Thanks
@@screen-protector Update reveiw would be nice. I am mostly worried about the dept of the field, I thin I noticed that image gets out of the focus if you move your work up or down slightly! How much "wiggle" room do you have?
Can't beat Aliexpress for the cheapo tools. I get my tweezers there for jobs where I don't want to 'risk' my Engineer ones, they are pretty much disposable for the price.
Thank you for the comment. :) Most of the tools from Aliexpress prove to be not only worth the price, but do the job. I've saved thousands of £££ thanks to this platform and now my technicians who work from home save as well.
According to VidiQ your channel SEO score is very low out of 100 which should be 70+. If you want I can make it 70+ which will help your channel grow faster. Are you interested?
My party box 100 is getting on by itself and I switched it off and the same automatically gets happened it gettin on by itself what is happening I am using this like almost around a couple of months but don’t know what is happening help pls some one
You can either get it to someone who can fix it, or someone who can install an internal switch that can go outside and you can manually switch it on and off this way. But, without knowing where you stay and without diagnosing the fault, how you expect you to help? Especially if you'd fix electronics, you could do it yourself, and inside is mains power which can kill you, so how you expect us to help you?
Yeah, not only you need a proper 18650, you'll also need a high discharge one. The fire button will try to pass high current, like 8 amps or so are common for coils.
i observed your youtube channel and found that you mainly provide electronics repair services.Your content quality is great, but there isn't enough audience coverage, because your maximum video SEO score is very low. I will suggest you, RU-vid SEO: By improving the search engine optimization of your videos, you can significantly increase their visibility and attract a larger audience. Google Ads: I can bring you the view you want through Google Ads. If you need any help with RU-vid you can ask me.
I couldn't see any damage, and pressing was conductive. I wish it would be so easy ;). Plus, it is working in this weird key combination. That's the weirdest I had till now.
@@screen-protector besides the price £80-£90, I feel they’re more accurate Pete, Peak atlas ESR70, and Peak Atlas DCA55, I have a spare set in protective box if you want to buy it 😊
@@wisher21uk thank you. I'll have to look for a comparison video and specs for them. Might consider buying one if there's some significant difference in the performance :).
@@wisher21uk I've seen the first one, reminds me about the simple DIY project to recognize semiconductors. This one is more PRO. :) I'll try to find time to watch about the 2nd one ;).
I don't know of any chart program, sorry. But, the diagnostics software if you look for a FREE one @TheCod3r has one and you can search on his RU-vid channel :). There's a paid one as well, you can google by typing: PlayStation 5 diagnostic software.
