Totally slept on this first time round, love the homage to Quincy Jones ;) Wow CJ did you ever manage to get any shut eye in 92 ! Remember dropping your mix of TBTILAF for the first time and the club going off, was a nice touch using the Luther Ad-Libs on the intro, with such a distinct voice, everybody immediately knew who it was. A career defining mix, if ever there was one :)
I was a DJ in Chicago, and a buyer for a record store, sold a bunch of these, absolutely love this track CJ McIntosh in house, the underground... scene...
Dio che meraviglia. Radio DeeJay ai tempi d'oro. Albertino al suo top! Mi sembra di sentirlo che presenta sto disco alla dj parade del sabato... NOSTALGIA
Gorgeous. I'm sorry to say this but I miss RnB/Soul music from 1992 to 1996. The head-nod stuff with the beautiful backings. Proper music and sexy as f**k. It's a LOST ART. Damn fashion had to change. I don't hear soulfulness like this in contemporary black music.
Brilliant, just brilliant. Got the vinyl stashed away somewhere. We need this remastered (not that it needs it!) or at least available on digital platforms.
Hey Chris, do you possible remember a long time ago, you played a version of loving is really my game? It was in a mix you did for Night fm the Dave Pearce show? Was it a promo, white label or was it you mixing a couple of records together? Can't find it. Do you remember?
Didden't know this mix was so smooth ! Got this on 12" but allways played the album version or the one with AZ, i should have givin this a second chance in all this time
