As it wasn't mentioned in the guide you are going to need 60 Herblore before you start the Mastering Mixology minigame so make sure to level this up before attempting if you are not the required level.
Congrats, I don't know I was only using Noxious Halberd and usually getting around 1:30 per kill but I did spend a lot of time consistently at the boss every single day for a month.
I average ~ 1:55 kills 'when I'm not being dogshit' in bandos with zhasta the speed runner seems pretty doable with a scythe and or inquis. the perfection tasks / 10 kc tasks were the most shit for me with that setup.
I was happily enough to get the speed-runner with my setup of Noxious Halberd and Bandos but yeah... it's a struggle. You can always kill off the acidic spiders fast before enrage phase too which can be easier for the task where you can't take any damage at all, otherwise you'll be having to take melee and range hits.

@@Cus no pet yet but working on Halberd number 5. It took me 2500 tormented demons to get my first synapse after 9 burning claws so I knew this grind would be bad for my account haha!
Damn, you give me flashbacks to last leagues when I went 8 eternal gem's no imbued heart... I hope you do get fang soon! Drops always come when you least expect it too.
How did you find using the halberd for the boss? I figured because it's not crush it wouldn't be worth it. Personally I am using the Dual Marracas so let me know if I should be changing to halberd :D
Hmm, I'd say Halberd should be better than Dual Macca's overall but test both on the boss and see if there's much change in your trips. I would've thought Halberd would be slightly better.
Game size is 1,530 x 1,006 on RuneLite window settings I believe it's multiplied by x4 from base resolution so this way it maintains quality and ratio and you can then increase the width if you like around 1700+ is nice. Stretched mode is on all ticked and resizable scaling on 100%. I was thinking of doing a RuneLite plugins video sometime in near future so maybe I'll include that on list. Thanks for the comment!

Yup, slayer cape perk believed to be 10% chance and it's best to get tasks from Duradel / Kuradal as the task weighting for Araxyte is 10 which is very nice.
Usually I don't go dry on bosses but that really was an all-time dry, I went 3x dry on Voidwaker Blade at Calvarion/Vetion but hopefully won't ever go this dry on a boss again.

This boss is really annoying me I can solo expert toas on mobile all day I can do majority of hard content but this freaking spider 🤣 I get 1/2kill trips if I’m lucky when I tap to step away on enrage phase I seem to step alright but then for attack my player runs back onto the venom constantly. when I try slow it up I then get hit by it cus I’m not moving in time to hit 🤦♂️
Seems like a timing issue what I had, move 2 tiles in and out and then move 2 tiles in and use a tile left or right of the tile you just used to form a pattern so you won't always go back in venom. You can always run to other side to create more room if needed and if you're in a bad situation you can always just stand under the boss and move 2x2 tiles whilst under boss.
@@Cus makes sense I’ve also started stepping diagnol and when it happens sort of zigzagging whilst staying in pattern a massive downside also is gear I’m using bandos with the bludgeon but man bludgeon so ass compared to inquisitors etc. still fun tho I’m finnaly getting the hang of it so can’t complain to much
@@Cus ohh mad that’s like my toa luck I went 160 experts without a drop and when I got it I got the ring 😂 I seen that method of standing under aswell I’ve been trying it but a lot harder mobile because I have to long click to get under arraxor. 🤔I wander if there’s an angle I can catch under it without actually clicking the box it’s one to try
Haha yeah true, I can't wait to obtain a scythe although halberd will be used for when I do my duke/vardorvis grind, maybe even corp if I still don't have scythe.
Hmm Noxious Halberd isn't listed on wiki as a weapon of choice anymore but it was on par with Bludgeon when it was. On wiki it shows: Scythe > Soulreaper Axe/Inquisitor's Mace > Bludgeon/Ursine Chainmace > Saradomin's blessed sword/Hasta/Cudgel > Dual Macuahuitl/Saradomin Sword/Zombie Axe Zombie axe is good but I wouldn't put it followed by scythe as there's many more better options e.g. Soulreaper Axe, Bludgeon, Ursine.
I guess but I just like to use it for a good indication on setups. I still use my Noxious Halberd here regardless but hopefully soon done with Araxxor, missing fang.
When Araxxor was released, noxious halberd wasn't mentioned in gear setups on old school wiki but it's on par with bludgeon as per what wiki says so feel free to try it out. I have a video about the Noxious Halberd and how good it is for Araxxor amongst other bosses - check it out on my channel.
there are also plenty of strats for luring the ruptura spider into the range or melee spider eggs which will bring the health down to not quite zero but it won't skip the spider eggs, instead it will make the spider hatch as normal but it won't spawn.
sorry if you already know this but I've been surprised at all my clannies for justt tanking the spiders in the middle of the room. If you don't know I'd be more than happy to show you as well!
I am aware about it as it's mentioned in video description but thank you for clarifying, at least it may help others that want to learn that way about 1 tile under method but have never done it myself hence why I've been set on the 2 tile under method and didn't know much about other methods after the South-west tile was changed but It's good that there are many different variants of this though. All good, it's good that you are informative and this may help more players learn different methods of this boss. Tanking the spiders works well as I like to go for faster encounter and I did that precisely when I went for Grandmaster CA for speed so if you have good enough gear and can sustain the damage then yeah it's viable to ignore them but yeah not recommended for someone with not so good stats or gear. I guess it's just a preference really.
Damn bro, that's hella luck I am still over 2k in without a fang. Also you need to consider drops that are untradeable because they don't add to the total gp for loot tracker.
Does this cause you to lose ticks with a 5t weapon? Is it even worth it after they nerfed the damage? Or maybe you could skip the 3rd step under and just attack normal and then go back into the cycle.
I still think it's worth it after they nerfed the damage but depending on your gear setup and It does cause loss of ticks with 5t weapon but doing this method should still be superior than without, at least when I have done the method compared to without I've seen a good difference but it may vary between different setups.
Yeah, I mean I heard it was ridiculously overpowered so I ain't surprised it did. It's still easy and quick with good enough damage and step under. I wouldn't let the nerf bother you that much, it's still better than nothing.
