Watched this in a movie theater in Canada, and my husband couldn't stop mentioning how great to play was, for days. I highly recommend anyone who has the chance to watch this.
Please record this and upload it to a streaming network or RU-vid, I need to see it and I live very far away to be able to travel, pay the ticket and see this wonderful play!
God! dear teacher, thank you for your exercices, although there is nothing new in it, unfortunately; from this kind of " yoga; breathing exercises, so on and so for. Sincerely I looked forward something...different from the thousand of internet excercices; pity Anyway, i'm an opera student, specially baroque ,thanks i do these and moreeee...ex. every day, before rehearsal...with all my respect ❤
I have a bad health issue that make it impossible for me to do normal stuff like going to the theater. But as soon as I'm recovered, let me tell you that one of the first thing I'll be doing is going to London to watch that man on stage.
I love micheal sheen since I saw him in underworld, and I watched interstellar, I also love michael kane and his wise fatherly voice. But it took me nine years to understand and really see this poem in my imagination. The structure of the poem is not common, now I understand. Feel like nine years ago the real reason I did not understand it is that I was not mature enough and not worthy of grasping its meaning. Now I am 37, and I understand because now I am counting my age in count down not counting up. A birthday is a year lost not a celebration but a mourning. Another year without finding love and a wife, without kids or a family. And I say to my ageing depressed self, do not go gentle in that good night, rage rage against the dying of the light. My remaining years will only be rage and revolution until I get my family and life.
I still talk about the music and everything you guys did on stage Especially jameel Westman performing eugene alone It’s really inspiring me as an actor more
Saw it twice, both times I left weeping. Genuinely, one of the most moving pieces of theatre I've seen in my life, especially the ending monologue. Bloody brilliant!
How wonderful! Thank you so much for making it possible for us to keep in touch with the unique sense of drama National Theater displays... Theater at home is a magnificent endeavour! And it keeps Britain alive in our hearts! Thank you!
Is it possible to " buy" virtual sits for this production to be watched from home, just like what happened during the covid crisis? Even if this is made available only AFTER the stage period.... That would be a marvellous way to share British culture for those if us who don' t live in the UK... Thank you!
Really grateful that the National Theatre is uploading recent productions onto its NTATHOME which is developing a great library of shows. Well done NT loved Boys from the blackstuff and Nye, looking forward to grapes of wrath, corolianus, ballet shoes and the importance of being earnest. A great 2024 catalogue
I'm not sure but I know it can be watched anywhere in the World from 'National Theatre at Home'. 'You can choose to subscribe by the month, year or just rent a single play'.
