TOP!
Now this is a good commander. Clear instructions, calm voilce while commanding. Gets shot at 5:14 and calmly directs the gunner to the 1 o clock. The average Joe playing this game might go something like "DUDE HE'S TO YOUR RIGHT".
The lovely thing about being dutch, is that you can still follow like 90% of what the crew is saying. Maybe you can add subtitles to make it easier for non germans to follow it?:) Danke für die video<3
Imagine if we had another world war. Except it would take place back during the 40's and over the internet. A giant global video game community, all playing the same game. Up to 500 players. And ze winner gets well, nothing.
Spitzen Spiel nur null Infos zu Betas oder Veröffentlichung Sping 2018 ??? Kann da jemand mehr drüber erzählen ob OPEN BETA und wann es nun raus kommt ??
Nothing screams 1995 like the mighty utterly impregnable and insurmountable picket fence and other static crap like a f*cking wheel barrow. Imagine the chaos and assured Axis victories if picket fences and wheel barrows were implemented, spanning the length of the invasion beaches and across all of Europe for that matter, the Krauts sure dropped the damn ball there. Its one aspect of this game that will really piss me off, not to mention the lack of vaulting? C'mon, the lacking of these age old basics are game ruin-ers in my book, and in this day and age? Totally unacceptable. Its a picket fence ffs! Finger crossed little tweaks like these can be implemented later on. Regardless of my minor bitching, this is still top of my list along with HLL.
If they cant make fences break they should make them transparent if that is possible so that tanks can drive thorough them because it ruins the immersion a little bit when the 30 ton tank cant go through a tree or just a simple fence
There is something really cool about hearing a German crew speak in German while driving a Panzer IV in this game. Also, I notice the devs actually added swastika's to the map instead of the Balkenkreuz, I'm so happy they decided to take that step, it just convinces me that I want the game more.
Probably. Sad too, ignorance and fear triumph over logic and reason once again, there's no reason to remove swastika's from a game other than Germany hiding from their own past, they should confront it rather than let it hang over them like this.
CaptainBadger if I hear such uninformed bullshit... People in Germany learn probably more about the Holocaust and the 3rd Reich than any other country in the world. It is forbidden, because We want to show respect for the victims of the nazis, to show that racism etc. and all the other shit the Swastika stands for has no place in the german society anymore. That said though, movies and paintings are allowed to use the Swastika, because they are considered as art, video games, at least until now, are not recognized as that. You could put the naziflag inside your house and everything would be fine. You are simply not allowed to show it in public
Well hey, there you go, someone just provided me with the first opposing point of view on this particular subject I've seen in a long while. Here's the problem. When I was vacationing in Britain for Tankfest a couple years back, I encountered a substantial number of German nationals (I want to say a baker's dozen or so, but that's a generalization) who were also seeing the sights and quite nice to talk to in my chance encounters with them. However, when I brought up the subject of Nazi imagery (or, more specifically, the Swastika since it's mirrored brother is considered a sign of auspiciousness and good luck in many Indian religions) as an academic question from someone wishing to know more about their modern culture; their answer was practically unanimous in that it's prohibited in just about every way in Germany, especially in movies and video games, though paintings were something of a gray area with them as they personally did not know. A fine older gentleman said that it was also frowned upon with regards to paintings though. Now, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm going to take the word of German people I've spoken with in person over the claims of a single person on the internet. Sorry, but when it comes to stuff like this, I've learned to take words on the Internet with a grain of salt.
CaptainBadger well first of all thanks for a normal response:) you can easely confirm my point, if you just watch a german ww2 movie (even here on RU-vid are a few scenes of them) : Das Boot, Generation War etc. You will see the historically correct uniforms flags etc, without any censoring whatsoever
CaptainBadger www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__86a.html and here you have the official german law... If you want, I can translate it for you one by one, but it clearly states that you can do whatever you want with those Symbols privatly but you are not allowed to show them in public. It is not against the law, if the intention of the artist is to educate people about the time period
