Super helpful tutorial mate. I shoot surf in the water and shot in F-log and in post they were pretty hazy. The combination of these two techniques made a hugeeee difference. Thanks heaps!
NOT HELPFUL for the novice. How do you have both font file in documents and font book open at the same time. I can't see how to do this. If you can't do this then you can't do anything.
Great Videos... I have been watching your videos for quite a while now... and they have been very helpful in understanding the lightroom and bettering my edits.
Thank You so much for explaining everything with so much patience and in detail. One of the best tutorial i have come across on this topic. Made learning so much easy with ur style of teaching.
Blown away by your explanation of the red-green-blue tone curve! After watching countless video’s on this topic, this one made it understandable! Subscribed!
This is….. clean VERY good video Just the right mix of hard info and examples. You didn’t try to make it a 4 minute info dump, but it’s also not a 2h slug Brilliant Though I did skip out and forward after the +- 15 minute mark. Should maybe have skipped the second landscape shot and went straight to the portrait
What can i do to always work in my camera profile? i chabge something in Preferences but i have to manualy select in every photo my camera neutral profile. TNKS
Thanks so much, Ryan! This is super helpful. Quick question - once everything is backed up twice on external hard drives, do you just delete/move the folder on your desktop to your trash? Nothing sensitive to take in mind about how Lightroom CC imports/links to desktop for those files? Also, do you delete that lightroom catalogue from your library in Lightroom once you're done with it? Thank you!
Wow, the first 22 seconds of this video made me want to click right out of it. Way too jarring and visually frenetic. When people talk about "accessibility" on the web, sometimes they mean thinking about people who do not respond well to so much stimulus.
Hey brother, Just wanna ask, when we expose our shooting concept/idea even before they give us the job , wouldn't they steal the concept and use a different photographer?
partnering with influencers and offering their services to uoir clients is smart. Takes the need out of having your own audience. Do you pitch influencers?
Your software is different from mine. I don't have the before and after, my one brush is on the rfar right not next to the other broad gray scale. I also do not have the sliders under the tone curve like you do. Any suggestions?
after copying when Im trying to open Photoshop on the new computer, it says 'Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory. Please reinstall the application.' nyone had that issue?
You are a life saver! Finally an easy and straight to the point tutorial. Thanks! EDIT: Guess what! This trick also fixed my tags! They where not working properly. When I try to look for tag files they wouldn't appear. After a few minutes of doing this, they are all back again in my finder. I hope this helps info helps, in case you want to make another tutorial about this topic.
This is a great video, also the way you’re explain the curves tool is great. I’ve seen other people just grab and go and boom there image come out but my images didn’t turn out that way, but watching your explanation I’m understanding it so easily. Thank you 🙏 😊
Quick question, and this is not a criticism, but why do people insist on continuing to use Lightroom Classic? Maybe it’s because I learned on the new system, but you can’t ignore the new, suuuper useful features Adobe has rolled out in the last few years. This old UI is an eye sore to me
fair question! i have used both back to back for the same sets of images, and unfortunately, classic still has features i depend on that lr cc doesnt have classic is much, much better for bulk editing, it has many more keyboard shortcuts, calibration settings, and a few other bits and pieces that the new version doesnt have so for me thats why im still on classic!
More functionality, access to additional plugins, greater resources available, wider adoption across industries. Also no one wants to use/pay for adobes cloud service
working professionals would rather use what they know, and what they can quickly utilize to do what they get paid to do, rather than learn an entire new system for little to no reason
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. While I have been using curves, it hasn't been enough or as effective. You have explained it in a way others haven't. I learned a ton from this video and can't wait to go back and re-edit some recent and older photos. Thank you!
