Hello Diane and Cindy, I am actually learning this by going to the college. But, unfortunately, in real word doesn’t it really work? Because as an immigrant we face so many challenges just to feel that you are a part of a Canadian society and want to make genuine living but if sense of belonging is not given to the family through educators then what should we do?

Hi .my job has flexibility to take maternity leave 6 months (mandatory) and child care leave 1 yr ( optional, can be taken any time upto 18 yrs of that child ). I am confused ,Its better to stay with child till 1 year or 18 months of age ,before going to work ? Can you suggest me ?
Man, this is just the way i was looking for ! As a bachelor, my food scraps are minimal. All the videos only show hige piles of composting. I was looking for a Mini Compost idea like yours. BIG THANK YOU. 1. Did u poke holes in the pouch like all the other videos (i dint see in yr video). 2. U did not do the usual mix of leaves, cardboard, paper, cocopeat etc. So, just the eggshell is enough for composting?? 3. Why u keep adding water? The greens will leave so much of water during composting right ?
I agree, Robyn can still preform Blinky very well today! Same with most of her other voices from the series. She recorded me a blinky message back in May of this year. I’ve also learnt so much from her, but me having accurate knowledge on Robyn’s Blinky voice means I think that if she was to reprise Blinky he’d need to have his personality changed (which could well involve re-writing the script) and maybe be depicted a bit younger.

A great short video, thanks for sharing, the 5 strategies are a good guide to making sure educators are equipped, communication is a key role and I'm grateful that I work in an environment that is actively working towards what you have spoken about Susan.
This is worded in such an incredible way... We are so used to thinking about children and equipping them to thrive. How are we equipping Educators to do the same? You nailed this one, Susan!!! Way to go!!
Our team recently completed the Gallup personality quiz and this has helped us all to learn how we each tick and how we work well together. Well worth the money if anyone is looking at understandning and supporting their team better. :)
Sounds like you are already one step ahead! It's great that you had positive results from Gallup, hopefully this can inspire others to consider this type of team building.
I'm shy and it crippled me growing up and I was left out and not pretty enough, or smart enough. I always had only one friend when the one friend abandoned me i was so alone and miserable and didn't have skills to make friends easily. It has never been a good trait for me.
Oh can we find a female ocean-going hero that isn't a thieving pirate? So funny how we romanticize them. What about a Greenpeace rescuer or a Scientist exploring searching for Orca pods? Just sayin' I am so over Pirates.
Great video, I’m going to get his book. My 7 year old son has been struggling with anxiety at school, he’s just like I was at that age, extremely shy. I want to address it now so it won’t hold him back from making friends, enjoying activities, etc.
I was this way and so is one of my sons. I’ve dealt with it by, what some may call, excessive working out. And in the most solitary ways. Trail runs, weight lifting (at home of course. Hate gyms, calisthenics in my carport. And lo and behold, my shy son who is only two, has been emulating me, trying to do squats and burpees the best he can at this age. His older brother is pure extrovert like my wife. I don’t want my younger son to have to feel the way I always did. I’m at a loss to help him. If we go to a park he won’t do anything unless he’s with big brother.
I know all about this disorder. It destroyed me. I became an alcoholic and drug addict because of shyness and mental illness. I was on the extreme aspect of the spectrum. I needed professional help. I'm 52 now. I disagree here. I think shyness to my extent is irreparably harmful. Of course, I'm a living example of extreme shyness.
