This was a solid test l, that sealant really kicks ass, I wonder how’s the real life durability. Ethos d3fy would be a great waterless wash to go Vs. Adapt
Have you tried synergy plastic on interior panels? Seems like it could be comparable to DIY interior ceramic with the ability to use it on exterior plastics as well.
I can confirm the new stuff does diddly-squat to add new protection. Especially if you've had to strip the clearcoat clean in order to remove adhesive. At best, this is a maintenance product with admirable cleaning capability.
Martin, FYI... I remember using this product many years ago, with very good results. As you said, it was bought out by another company. Now it is not as effective?
Great video Martin. I really like you give products most people wouldn't use a shot. Staining trim is disappointing considering so many products don't now. Those are dedicated polishes though. I can't remember the last time I used a AIO. I'd like to see you test Poor Boy's Black Hole Glaze.
I used all turtle wax back in the 70's, still do today, more advanced from my days.....paste is easy if you go thin, no more then that is needed....we all have our ways...thank you for this video
Martin, good demo... looks like a competent product. Removes light scratches, swirls, and oxidation. Reminds me of the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish. Btw... my brother lives in Dover, NH. Ames... now there's a blast from the past!
Looks interesting for glass (I’ve had decent luck with the OG one on windshields.) I’ve been using Mother’s CMX polish as a primer polish after seeing a comment on one of your videos. Cuts almost as well as Griot’s AIO, but no “wax” component. 8 months in and no difference in performance between the areas I didn’t panel wipe after CMX and those I did. (At least with cheaper coatings or Cancoat on top.) Might be worth a test if you’re lazy like me.
These days, if im applying a wax, its for the rich warm look with durability not as important. That said, i do expect some protection of at least 6-8 weeks. 3D Poxy is my favourite for looks. It gives immense darkening effect with a very wet look on darker colours whilst giving a couple of months durability. Its also so fast and fun to apply when you use the machine to apply it. I bought the GLW Ceramic Wax and whilst it seems a little more durable and tighter beading, i do prefer the looks of the Poxy.
just a fyi, silicone tubes are the super flexible ones that the mjjc cannons use, the ones you used are pvc. i bought a 2' piece of 4mm ID(6$ on amazon) and a pack of weights. i put it on my old mtm and a cheapo astro with no issues.
@Secret_Sun33 ryan west industries spray wax has the best filling abilities I have ever seen. Though it's not chemically resistant but it is pretty affordable.
😂😂, suckers.. people buy targeted car waxes.. I've been using the same paste wax from family run mom n pops place for over 40 years. My cars paint appearance is as it was 3D.. I'm always asked at cars n coffee or shows what I use. If I like the person? I may disclose what I use and where to get it. I actually shrug off 98% of people.. efem.. some think I car was painted.
@@philliplagreco6453 using this product with an orange lake country pad and a dual action polisher and then using a ceramic spray or coating to lock it in.
This new formula didn't do squat for me unless Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax had already been applied. Maybe this stuff acts as a booster for existing protection?
This product is very similar to other “one step” polishes where the cut is determined by the pad rather than the polish. You could finish up with their red “jewel” pad which claims very high gloss when finished

It looks like you know what your doing! I admire your work! But please use Nitrile gloves! Even Ivan says these coatings are extremely dangerous for your internal organs! Please refer to Diy detail and please listen to Ivan himself. Or just ask?
What a great video ! I am super old so yes I have been using this and MANY other newer products for decades. I was around back in the days of those commercials and the consumer reports on how good it was. It’s a solid product, should be called the twice a year polish. You do your vehicle 2 times a year your ride will look good for 200,000 miles living outside. I speak from experience, on a few vehicles.
the reason that it is more expensive on Amazon is because people buy it up ( like Mr. Pink ) from Wal-Mart and resell it . Two of my 3 local Wally Worlds had to put a two per customer buying limit on them because 1 individual was buying most of the stock in 1 sweep every time they restocked . He'd get all of the suds.lab , CGs, and Adam's products and sell them on his Amazon and ebay sites at a significant mark-up . The other Wal-Mart was like " hey we are selling the crap out of it , let it go " .
Excellent video! I just have to ask why do you wash bottom up? I was always taught to wash top down… does it make a difference? Or are the products you use just that good? Not trying at all to disrespect in any way, just a genuine question on your method.
@colekehler6444 so you don't miss any spots with the pressure washer and can see where there is still soap you haven't hit yet. Normally when contact washing and rinsing, yes top down.
I have used the product. It works. Your test hood is up in that vertical position. Nothing is going to bead up in that position. Gravity is forcing the water off. Use your test hood horizontally to be fair.
This is my second test. didnt work for me on another car either, but others have told me it works so I think maybe its water quality or something that affects this
@@BelLavoroAutoSpa hahaha. Are you in touch with the people at Superior? I’d love for them to release a good ceramic detail spray. I can’t believe they haven’t made one as of yet
This thing is really bad. That plastic bit that connected the rod broke for me and you have buy the entire thing all over again. Shitty German engineering again
I use Adapt and also DIY WL. The winner is... DIY Waterless. On the paint they both perform about the same. Both smell great but the grape juice smell of DIY is unique. The difference make is the glass. Adapt leaves a smear when applied to glass. I use the DIY WL to remove the smears on the glass and it cleans to a sparkle. I would think that it is putting a cleaner coat then on paint as well. Stuff rocks and is a great drying aid as well. Lastly, DIY Mist is too expensive, use DIY WL instead.
I finally got around to using ADS Tire cleaner. After two rounds of a fan favorite, I sprayed ADS and I got immediate browning. Their Tire+ Conditioner quality leaves a nice finish.
Good job. I believe adding All Clean, Iron Remover, and PSD Towel to the process, may have revealed more favorable results. Iron contamination has little to do with the water supply and mostly with the brakes. Not just yours, bet everyone around you when driving! Also, Kia engines are more prone to burning oil, which can accumulate residue on the back of the vehicle. Which is why the back 1/3 of the vehicle had more sheeting. All Clean would have been more effective at removing that "oil" film.
Oh believe me the car has been seeing every decon process there is, I just have to recorded it all. Kia also uses mostly direct injection engines which run pretty rich so you get all that soot coming out of the exhaust as well.
