I just ordered some greenstuff. I‘m trying to do a mullet for the phobos lieutenant, turn him into Solid Snake. You said to make a little sausage for hair. My marine will have much longer hair, than your Space Wolf, so do I just roll a slightly longer sausage to apply it to the head?
Great work as always! Do you think you’ll ever do any alpha legion kitbashes? I love the HH models, but there aren’t many options to choose from and I need some inspiration on how to kitbash more lol.
Thank you! I did a loyalist alpha legion themed kitbash ages ago, but it's not my best work. So I could definitely try another one. I'll add it to the list! I'd love to kitbash all the legions for 30k, but I need to get the kits! Haha
I'm not a fan of the GW Wolfen models and I think this turned out great. Wargames Atlantic is coming out with a Werewolves kit that I'd like to try to use to make some Wolfen.
Hey Jam, as a commission painter I just want to say great work on your mini. Love the work on the fur, weapon and cape especially. Good choice for the metallics doing the base rim in black. It helps draw your eye to the model more due to the contrast. Quick tip for weapon wraps, basecoat them and highlight them first before doing the wash so you can cover up any mistakes you make during that step and disguise it as ware and tear
Hey everyone! So, as you may know, I don't often do painting style videos. But I learnt a lot from this one. Especially with getting better close ups etc. But with that in mind, is this sort of video something you'd like to see more of in the future? Also, spoilers.. I bought the army set in the end! haha
And this is why tournament 40k os the worst 40k. You should absolutely be able to still run kit bashes in casual games. Think ill do one of these and also a one command squad to run in games even after the legends and watch the try hards freak out when i out them on the table anyway lol
@@JamsMiniMods it's a flip of a coin. Put your stuff on the table and explain your army and half the time the guy is cool and just wants to play and the other half of the time the guy wants to find a broken edge to play against AND do gotcha hammer keeping secrets until it's top late lol 😆 it's all good though. Point being just play your hobby and play the way you want to play otherwise just pack up I suppose fuck it.
Great job with these, they came out great :D And you ask what's better than lightning claws to represent a flesh tearer? Unironically a chain axe, they're one of the few chapters to use them!
I'm just getting started with 40k and I chose spacewolves as my faction because the lore was so appealing and I'm all for the space viking idea. Love this video man! Giving me a ton of ideas for the future
