I wonder what percentage of these guys have cataracts by the age of 40? One of the welders uses an eye shield, but all the rest seem to be oblivious to what's going on. It makes me cringe watching it.
My guess is that the business model is essentially like cutting drugs. They stick a few of these prop bearings into a pallet of real (probably Chinesium but real) bearings, and when the customer complains they do their little head bobble and say that every batch inevitably has some lemons.
As someone in the US, it's odd to see trailers being built with such heavy steel frames. In the US, most trailer frames are made of aluminium, as it's lighter, which allows more cargo while remaining under DOT weight limits.
