I agree , this was the INFAMOUS IHRA President cup Nationals back in the early 2000’s , it was this way from the 90’s to around 2010, after that too many local 1/8th mile tracks in the South started hosting there own little Promod events & the ADRL came on the scene which was an all 1/8th mile sanction ….plus NHRA started running Promodified as exhibition, So it kinda stretched Promod , TopSportsman & other classes to far & thin and as a result the fans did the same….i remember vividly when it really started to affect IHRA National events….my Pops & I was at the IHRA President cup Nationals again & we kept trying to figure out where was a few of the top name Promodified teams and later when we got home I saw online that Charles Carpenter & a few other big Promodified teams had went 1/8th mile racing in Farmington NC instead of running the IHRA Presidents Cup Nationals, the rest is history as more & more teams started going to other events.
@@frank-xp6pj yeah pro mods has always been my favorite class as you say it's so spread out now and makes attending these events a little tougher. Now, that I'm on the West Coast, it seems either Vegas or Arizona NHRA national events is the closest I can get to seeing some pro mod action.
@@brandoncrouch6073 yep I’m from the east coast myself & been here in California for 5 years now, notice all the Dragraces I film within last 5 years is in California or Las Vegas….can’t wait to move back to the east coast to attend more races, California is dead when it comes to grudge racing & outlaw Promods…I might try to fly to the Midwest to film the NHRA event in St.Louis there schedule is STACKED.👍

Geneva Nash's "Gambler" dragster was a beautiful piece of work. Sad to see it get wadded up like it did at the World Finals. As always, great work Frank!
Thank you boss, and appreciate the compliment on my lil videos…I’m hoping that for the NHRA Finals this year I will have my new 4k@60fps camcorder to give more detail in my racing videos. My pit videos look sharper because I use a camera that shoots 4k@60fps but it doesn’t have any zoom so I can’t use it in the grandstands. Thanks for watching 👍
Whose here after the raids? Should Diddy come out and greet the tourists, now that his image is DAMAGED! I PRAY THAT MONSTER GETS LIFE........AND EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH HIM INCLUDING HIS GROWN ARSE SONS!!!
