I'm Working here at Deloitte as a Tax consultant.The culture of Deloitte depends upon your Team.I am placed in a team where micromanagement is too much even if I am 15 minutes late I have to put an apology mail and most of my clients are on US side so the logon time is 10Am and logoff time is 12- 2Am. Almost 80% loof my team members have resigned even without other job.I have seen nothing like that in other teams.Changing team is nearly impossible before 18 months.Salaries are only good above senior manager level .Otherwise salary are very low.No matter what people say govt job are best.

I really want to share my experience of my 20 days working in a small sized firm. Even though it is a small sized firm, the principal is really bad.... She is a narcistic person and she wants to blame those who are working sincerely and not even wasting time in the office. She is not even thinking whether scolding this assistant is right or wrong. For the past few weeks there were a lot of income tax work in the office. So, they allotted income tax filing work which has only salary income and income from other sources... since I am only a beginner. I have done at least 8 clients by now. Then the principal also asked to check the e verification status for everyone and asked me to update it in excel file. But when I was doing this work other works have been given by other members such as principal's husband, her senior assistant and principal's sister. so, I completed their work. I was not able to complete that e verification process because of dealing with other people's work. Yesterday she scolded me and sarcastically asked me where my progression for e verification is... I tried to explain her that I was doing the work given by others... but she is not at all ready to listen, she says that I have to shut my mouth... and she also added an e verification column by herself and then asked why it is blank. There was already a column named IT Filed column, so I updated on that column only, I also asked the senior assistant where to update and he told me to update only on the filed column. Even yesterday morning also I was trying to complete that e verification process, but she told to stop doing e verification and quickly complete it returns as yesterday was the last day. I could not believe that I have to face this in just 20 days of working. I don't have any idea on how I am going to endure for the next 2 years of Articleship....
